Obama to nominate first openly gay service secretary to lead the Army

Obama to nominate first openly gay service secretary to lead the Army

Obama to nominate first openly gay service secretary to lead the Army

Ever Since Obama flipped flopped on the issue of gay marriage, the gay agenda has been for front in the media.  Daily, there is a story about something gay.

The story of the bakers that were targeted by the gay couple, to make them a cake was one of the most outrageous stories dealing with this.  A quick look at their website would paint them as incredibly religious as there was scripture on every page!  An activist judge quashed their first amendment rights not only with their freedom of religion, he also repressed their first amendment rights when he basically put a gag order on them, so they could not even talk about it!  On top of this he found for the two gay folks that targeted this couple, and fined the bakery some $135k as one of the people claimed that she was mentally raped!

Kim Davis also had her first amendment rights quelled when she too was targeted by activist gay couples wanting to force her to do that which violated her religion.  She sat in Jail for several days as the activist judge found for the couple.

Now we have Obama nominating a gay service secretary to lead the Army.  I am sure Patton is rolling over in his grave!  This is a political maneuver to try once again to make the Republicans look weak or bigoted.  He has placed them in a no-win situation.  If they oppose this nomination for any reason, they will be painted as bigots.  It does not make any difference if the guy is qualified or not.  If they block it for any reason, they are bigots.  If they don’t block it, the conservative voting block will see them as weak, and vote them all out at their earliest convenience.

Obama is doing anything he can to make the republicans look bad, and this nomination is simply moving one more pawn on the chess board, dividing this country along gay vs. straight lines.  This president will go down in history as the “Great Divider!”

Those on either side will either see the LGBT side of this, or the evangelical conservative side who are being assaulted in these political maneuvers and are simply collateral damage, which this administration does not care about.

When you use your sexuality as a weapon, you are a bully!

Further collateral damage will most certainly occur in the minds of our service men and women.  Those of this day and age will probably not think too much about this but, those Vets, of an earlier generation like Patton, will be offended.  This is the emotional trigger that manipulates the masses, and some chess master in the Obama administration knows this; and is very good at what they do.

This is where the “Art of the deal” would come into play.  I would use any leverage I could to make Obama re-consider, and somehow put the monkey back on his back.  The republicans must take a stand, and force this president to take a stand, instead of giving him a pass.  I would force him to veto so many bills that he ran out of ink in his famous pen. Boehner and his people must grow a pair, or the 2016 election will look badly for them; as Americans will not see the political maneuvering, and the liberal media will certainly spin this in favor of the Democrats.

Those conservative candidates should talk about this during the next debate.  The general public has no clue how this government really works or as Obama calls it, “the process!”  “It’s a process and sometimes it gets ugly.”  Said Obama at some speech four years ago.  Trump is bringing a very large audience to the table, use it to place the blame where it belongs!  We have lost the art of the politics or we are cowards when it comes to this president.  The race card has been his “standard” for 7 years and that is getting really old!

Promising the American people a transparent government, with no lobbyist, are two of the first promises he broke.

Trump and Nutz

Trump and Nutz

Yesterday, Mr. Trump gave a talk in New Hampshire.  During the talk he decided to simply open up the floor to questions from the crowd.

trump

My gut feeling is that he decided that “practice fielding questions from just anyone,” might help him in future debates.  Now, that would by my reasoning however; I would not do it if I were him because he loses control of the setting.

True to form there were some nut jobs, or plants, that got the mic and asked some really far out questions.

Mr. Trump is short on substance anyway, so simply ignoring the bad questions and or placating them with “yea yea sure sure” was his strategy.

One of the loons talked about Fema camps and “visions” of bad things happening, which got no play in the press.

Supposedly 1 billion dollars worth of disposable coffins ordered by FEMA
Supposedly 1 billion dollars worth of disposable coffins ordered by FEMA

Another loon (first question actually) asked about the “Muslim problem” and accused President Obama of being a Muslim and not an American Born citizen.  Trump used his standard answer “were looking into a lot of things, next.”

The press has seized on this to once again attack Trump and of course his rivals are attacking him.. ”outrageous” on cries and another calls him a clown and not fit for the office!”  His opponents have nothing to lose and by saying things like “outrageous” simply gets them printed or Air Time.

These are all great sound bites but, what they are not reporting is that Mr. Trump simply placated the (nut or plant) and moved on.

Trump knows that Obama is a good guy, not a Muslim, and certainly not an alien!

No matter how much you disagree with this president, allowing such talk to go un-challenged is pretty close to saying it yourself.  If the press and other candidates have their way, they will spin this as Trump said it.

Tip:  When you run for any office, everything you say (or don’t say,) has to be, “Has to be” metered with “how will this be perceived by the voters, and how will it be used against me.”

Practice debates should be only with your staff, with no outside people anywhere near it.

In 1990 Clayton Williams was running for Governor of the state of Texas.  He made an off the cuff remark at a party for friends, that cost him the election.  He suggested that some victims of rape should “simply relax and enjoy it!”

Now this was said at a private party, drinking was involved and we don’t know the context of the statement.  He said it was part of a joke but, never the less, it cost him the election.

Rape is kind of like the weather. If it's inevitable, relax and enjoy it.” —1990 Texas gubernatorial candidate Clayton Williams (March 1990)
Rape is kind of like the weather. If it’s inevitable, relax and enjoy it.” —1990 Texas gubernatorial candidate Clayton Williams (March 1990)

When you are in the public “eye” so to speak, you must control the environment and you must be rehearsed.  While Mr. Trump has defied the laws of politics thus far, this cannot last forever.

The sophomoric behavior and truculent attitude must stop, he must be armed with some substance when asked questions, and he needs to control his stump speeches.

  • When loons like those two were allowed to speak, they hurt him.
  • Mr. Trump should employ people to vet the questions, and the people, before they are handed a mic.
  • Those two loons should never have been allowed to speak on camera.
  • I stress camera, as every time he speaks there are many live television feeds; and he knows this!  Don’t play to your competition.

His candidacy will implode if he does not take control of it.

GOP Debate II

GOP Debate II

While many watched the GOP debate last night, many did not. It did in fact draw a record audience of 22.9 million which is a record, and clearly due to Trump!

CNN-debate-lineup-september-2015-620x409

Many in fact will get their news from snippets, sound bites, tweets, or comedians looking for ratings, at the expense of candidates.

150917012559-hillary-clinton-phone-call-donald-trump-on-late-show-jimmy-fallon-orig-pkg-00001229-large-169

This is the world that we live in.

The first debate between the lower polling candidates, it was easy to see why the four there polled so low and to be fair, Rand Paul should have been there as well. To be absolutely fair to Mr. Paul, I admire him.  I don’t think he is presidential material but, I do think he is fighting for you and me and the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and for that my hats off to him.

Even this debate was about TRUMP
Even this debate was about TRUMP

Lindsey Graham who I have little respect for, actually schooled the bunch and tried to drive the message home that the world is a dangerous place; and under this administration, it has not gotten better.

images

I actually respect Lindsey a little bit more, after his performance last night.

The reason that we have so many GOP hopefuls is, that this president set the bar pretty low!  There was a time that I was considering running on the slogan, “I could not do any worse!”  If you like this guy as your president, my apologies and “bless your heart.”

So Un-presidential..
I am certain that as a person he is probably someone I would enjoy knowing. These last 7 years have been an unmitigated disaster.

What we have in the white house is the JV team and of that, I have little doubt.

Most of the candidates simply took shots at the front runner, in order to make a name for themselves. They were desperate and floundering and it was to be expected.  This was their chance to get back onto the board and I think they all failed. Mr. Graham focused on the president and the issues of the day which is really how as a candidate you should differentiate yourself.  His comment about “more drinking in the white house,” Showed a human side of him that I liked.

gty_ap_bobby_jindal_donald_trump_split_jc_150830_31x13_1600-640x480

At the main debate, Donald Trump was set up as the Straw Man by CNN for ratings.  Simply that, nothing more.  The questions and methods used were to tarnish the entire GOP; and of course make the front runners appear as feckless, as the current administration who think that ISIS is the JV Team. My opinion, your mileage may vary.

1435776010_donald-trump-zoom

Hollywood elites also weighed in and that too, sniping from the cheap seats.

Just because you can remember a few lines and emote, does not make you a brilliant politician, or your opinion any more germane than that of john Q public.  It simply means that when you speak, people know of you, and because you have name recognition, you can get printed. If you played a good guy, they might think your character is that of a good guy etc. There is a responsibility that comes with that, but few acknowledge it and abuse it regularly.

Donald Trump is resonating because Americans’ don’t like where we are going, and want America to change.  Mr. Trump cannot be purchased by special interests and even though he is flawed, I like the idea that if he says he will do it, he probably will.

davis_SI_cartoon_fisk

His largest flaw is not his truculent attitude towards “idiots,” or his sophomoric attacks on people’s looks.  It is; he is very short on substance.  His bravado and ego seem to overpower his respect for the office which he seeks.  Donald needs to come up with some humility and reverence for the office of President, and I question if he can do it.

oval-office-c1996

Think about it just for a moment, what kind of person thinks that he or she can be the most powerful person in the world?!  Narcissism would certainly come into play or should be suspected.

It was obvious that Mr. Trump was not rehearsed or prepared for the onslaught of attacks from both his fellow candidates, and the moderators.  He deflected and defended, but the facts are that he was on defense for 3 hours!  I am certain that he felt like one of those Trump Piñatas the Hispanics are selling.  Those of you who don’t like him probably enjoyed that part of it but, this is more than entertainment.  We have serious issues and we need someone who is going to get serious about fixing them!

That face! Sorry...Learn to Smile and tell a joke, lighten up.
That face!

Carly appeared to be the “winner” last night but, I must tell you as much as I appreciate her moxie, she came off as a bitch last night.  She came off as petty, vindictive and uninformed, in many political areas, even though she managed to memorize some facts and figures, much like Rubio, it was too rehearsed for my take.  She tells of great times at HP but as someone who has been in IT since 1982, I know that it was because they merged with Compaq.  I also had many friends who lost their jobs to overseas.  Tough decisions to put Americans out of work are not what we need!  While she gained ground with some, she lost it with me.  It is my hope that she can earn that back, as we really need serious candidates.

Huckabee, Who I have never really been a fan of, gained some traction with me in that he gave a solid performance.  I would like to know more about him without the bloviating. Cruz was too rehearsed, and way too in your face.

“If we can make provisions for convicted killers we can certainly make provisions for elected officials!”

Chris Christie had a good night, and I think his pitch to the American people was smart, I liked how he “became the adult” in the room and, I think that was a good moment for him.  Christie will be one to watch.

“You had your turn now do not interrupt me!”

The media is having a hay-day poking at Trump, and his argument that autism and vaccines have some sort of link while standing next to a neurosurgeon “planned by CNN,” fell flat.

We need answers to this!
We need answers to this!

While science says that is debunked, they also say we are in the middle of global warming. While I am not a denier of some sort of climate change, I do think it is a little like Chicken Little.  I know that Al Gore has those Carbon Credits all printed up, waiting to sell them to companies here in the US; while we ship our coal to China! In short it is completely disingenuous and all about money!

Workers cycle past a coal-fired power plant on a tricycle cart in Changchun in northeast China’s Jilin province. China’s label as a developing nation in climate matters is facing a challenge.

This administration evidently thinks that the poisoned air over China, will stay over China!

If there is a shred of doubt in the vaccine science, it needs to be looked at carefully.

I personally feel that the rise of autism is due to drug use in the different countries and once you “do drugs” you screw with you DNA, thus effecting the DNA of any progeny.  That is true for both parties, not simply the mother! True fact, we like the drug culture for some reason, so we don’t report it.

Maybe we feel that people who did drugs and gave birth to kids with special needs don’t need to bear the burden of their actions, so we downplay it.  Sorry folks!  We need a nation of accountability.  If you speed and get caught you get a ticket.  If you do something wrong and there are consequences, you should pay those consequences.  If you give birth to special needs kids and you did drugs…..it’s probably on you.

Twitter was busy last night with GOP haters talking smack behind their anonymous handles, and what have you.  There were even threats lobbed at some of the candidates. If you live behind the curtain, and in your mother’s basement, I guess you feel pretty bold.

Well my pretties, let me tell you something as a technology guy, they can find you!  They can not only find you by the unique id of the device you are using but, with technology; they can walk right up to you in a crowd of thousands.  If I can do it, so can they, and they have much more expensive toys than I.

One way to find you and your secrets.
One way to find you and your secrets.

Freedom of speech is one thing, threats are another.  Calling Trump stupid is your right, not smart, but.. Threatening someone with his resources, and a presidential candidate, really not too smart.

Speaking of really not smart, Someone not on the stage but, a vocal supporter of Trump tweeted through the entire event.

Ann Coulter, who I have watched, listened to, and find her intelligent, had a major brain fart last night.

anncoultertweet
I hope your accoutnt was hacked but I think it was you… Not smart!

I do not understand this tweet of hers, and I don’t think Mr. Trump will find it any too smart either.  He will have to distance himself from her, and hope that he does not get too wet from the splash.  Many on the twitter-verse were linking the two as one.

Donald-Trump-youre-fired

Most people that I know and call friends or even associate with, welcome diversity.   You and I can be polar opposite on everything.  As long as there is mutual respect, we are good.

This tweet is totally disrespectful and uncalled for.  The similar attacks lobbed against her, were also over the top, and simply sub-human.

Israel is our friend and so are the people of Israel.  Mentioning them in their closing statement was germane as many feel that this administration has dissed them (they have) and they don’t like Netanyahu for reasons which escape me.

Netanyahu_2447196b

To alienate people with comments like hers is unacceptable, and proves once again that you should not drink and drive, and or drink and tweet!

Bush and the rest were unremarkable …to me….Sorry.  We don’t need career politicians and we need term limits.  Once you retire as a politician you go home.  You don’t simply move over to Avenue K and become a lobbyist, you go home.  And by the way, you live by the same laws that we do.

A note about #Trump

A note about #Trump

A note about Trump

I find it fascinating that the liberal media does not understand why Trump is where he is in the polls.

They think it has something to do with “thinking people,” not liking politicians, but they are not really sure.  “He is Teflon.”  they say, “He defies the laws of political gravity!….”

Trump cannot be bought by special interests, and that is what is resonating along with his, “in your face to PC speak” which has crippled this country for far too long!

Add to this a complicit media that only reports on that which bring ratings, and only then if it fits an agenda of whoever they are supporting.

I think Americans are tired of being lied to and Trump, Carson, and probably Fiorina are Washington outsiders, who have yet to sell their sole to the devil that is the Washington DC Good old boys, what can you do for me” crowd.

Trump is most likely the only candidate that cannot be purchased by this crowd, and that is why (Washington insiders) are talking trash about him and, why he resonates with people, even if he is not the perfectly scripted, speech written by committee based on polls of different demographics, type candidate.  I find his rambling, unscripted style of speech refreshing, and if he wants to bitch about China at each speech, so be it.  He is what he is, and for that I will stand up and say Hell Yes!

If he “Trump” gets elected, how long do you think it will take to get the Keystone Pipeline started?  Do you think we will be spending more millions studying the effects on migration patters of birds or fish that are in some small creek?  The stalling will be over!  The Age of Bullshit will be over, at least political backscratching bullshit that has paralyzed this country for the last 7 years!

Twenty thousand (20,000) attended today’s speech, (not simply thousands WFAA) in Dallas, and I have no idea how many more watched it on TV but, I suspect that Wednesday, CNN will enjoy a boost to its ratings as never before, and it will be because of Trump, not the others…. (Sorry Ben and Carly) Those that choose to attack Trump at the Debate should tread carefully, he brought you that audience.

I think Trump is right about this phenomena, I think it is a movement!

Personally, I do not want to see another Bush or Clinton in the White house. I think it is time for the “dynasties” and Washington Elites to be dethroned, as they have time after time convinced the masses that they think that they are kings and emperors and other types of royalty who are above the law, who simply tolerate the little people.  “let them eat cake…”  Hillary still thinks she is above the law and this whole e-mail thing and the Benghazi lies are simply a right wing conspiracy!  Keep trying to sell those lies, you still have a few hard core believers…  Chris Mathews still loves you.

It is time for term-limits and hopefully we can get that enacted by getting the right person in the white house.  Whether that be Trump, or Carson, or Carly, I think Washington outsiders are a good start.

“Of the people, by the people, for the People, should be our battle cry!”

Our Government is accountable to us the people, and when they forget that, you get what we have, lawlessness!

We also have pens, and phones, and Social Media and … we vote!

Why is Trump still polling so high?

Why is Trump still polling so high?

162470_600

Most Americans do not want this Iranian nuke deal to happen and yet the Democrats are supporting Obama, thus pushing this through; against our wishes.

The majority of Americans thought that Obama Care was not a good deal and yet the Democrats pushed it through anyway, in spite of the folks.

All of the promises of the plan were indeed empty promises.  You might in fact, not be able to keep your doctor. “sorry….”

Washington is a “good ol boy club” and even after a politician is booted out, they become lobbyist and still write the bills that nobody but special interests want!  The same bills that nobody reads.

Running a successful campaign takes money.  To be a successful candidate you must always be in campaign mode, which means you must always be looking for money.

  • Campaign funding laws need to change.  Transparency is key so at least you know what company or special interests, owns your candidate.  Truly I want to know where their loyalties are.  You vote for a guy that talks the talk and as soon as they get in they no longer are responsive to the voters that put them there.

Maybe you own a railroad or you have interest in a company that owns a railroad.  That railroad is currently making tons of money hauling oil from Canada to the gulf.  A pipeline which would put thousands to work, would not bode well for your bottom line so….you give money to whoever will sit on the pipeline bill, stall it or stop it, from happening!

You might even fund some tree hugging activist to bring some sort of frivolous law suit claiming that some fish might become extinct if the pipeline is allowed to continue.  Everyone knows that nothing moves fast in the government so a committee must be formed to look into it.  The committee calls for an investigation which means specialist must be hired (at taxpayer expense) and study the possible impact that a pipeline would make on the fish in question.  This process could take years just to return the study.

If progress is being made another group is hired to pursue a suit claiming that the pipeline might affect the migratory patterns of the rare and troubled species of bird.

Another committee is formed, another specialist hired and more time is bought for the controlling partners in a company that happens to have a railroad.

If it was truly about climate change someone might point out that the railroad has a much higher carbon footprint than oh say, the building a pipeline.  There is also a much greater risk of the fish being effected or those birds becoming confused by a derailment with toxic spills in god knows where.

Donald Trump is using his own money.

The question I and everyone else has to ask is “what is in it for Donald?”

Mr. Trump has said he will work for a $1 a year!

I for one like the idea of someone that is not in the pocket of the others.

Now the people in the house and the senate are still in the pocket of special interest, but Donald, not so much.

Any candidate that takes millions from someone is beholding to someone.  I am guessing that the Unions, big business and those hedge fund guys, which make billions if things happen a certain way are the big contributors to politicians.    You know, the “fat cat bankers” that Obama warned about as he was taking their money.

  • Most politicians promise relief for the middle class.
  • The middle class pay the bills.
  • The middle class is squeezed from the top and bottom, and then marginalized when it comes to benefits because those are handed out as cell phones, free internet and food stamps to those who choose not to work.

If we take in 10,000 Syrians as Obama is saying, those too will be paid for from the taxes of those who work.

The people pay for these things in taxes and in fees that are levied on their bills as some sort of “universal fee,” code for socialism.

Most people look at their phone bill or cable bill and see those “universal fees” and have no idea what they are.  That is what they are, both federal and state.

Emotions are one way to manipulate you, and that is not lost on Hillary as she cries for the camera in a recent interview.

Are you old enough to remember the Sally Struthers commercials for the orphans?  She had her 90 second spot on prime time TV crying for the orphans. The purpose of her tears were to evoke a response from people, an emotional response which would hopefully translate to opening your wallet.

AllFam2015M_GMixItUp

It was later reported that this group was not Christian and that is simply used the word Christian to garner support from “Christians.”  It was also reported that very little money actually went to help children.

Obama GOP Khamenei Negotiation Iran Nuke Deal Cartoon

This Iranian deal is a mystery to me and to anyone that knows anything about it.

I was astonished to learn that if Israel should attack Iran, part of the contract is that the US has to defend Iran!  Hello, Israel is our friend.

Depending upon where you get your news, this is either the greatest deal of all time or it is the absolute worst deal.

I have found that the main stream media is terribly biased towards the liberal ideology so I tend to treat anything that they report with more skepticism than say One America News Network.

Please Mr. President, go work on your golf game.  I bet Trump would allow you access to his courses, just stop doing anything else.  Deals like this we don’t need.

Obama-Golf-Photoshop-Rockettes-Chorus-Line

At this point it would be cheaper if the president took his family and simply traveled the globe on a yearlong vacation.  Let Uncle Joe see if he wants to really try out for the job, at least he is entertaining.

Trump is a flawed man and probably not in touch with us mere mortals.  I think he loves the country, it has been good to him and I think he is genuine when he says he will make us respected in the world again.

Dr. Carson is soft spoken, smart man but I have not heard from him any strategy for dealing with the issues we have at hand.

dr-ben-carson-we-the-people
True statement…
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

Carly, waiting for the debate next week to make up my mind.

fiorina

Chris Christie shoots from the hip but I don’t like the idea that he will further screw with Social Security.  What I picked up from him today is that the age might be raised again and there might be some sort of means test, meaning; if you planned for retirement or are making some ambiguous amount of money decided by some committee, that you might not qualify to get “your money from social security, back!”

Make no mistake, the money that you paid into the system is yours.  When I got into the work force it was 65.  Reagan changed it so now the baby boomers get it much later.

The argument is that people are living much longer today but…here is the gotcha…!  Once you reach middle age, companies don’t want you anymore!  Why do you think that so many middle ages professionals that are working at a hardware store or other retail part time job?  They don’t want to, that is all they can get.  Something part time without benefits that makes their retirement income last a little longer.

They should be enjoying their golden years but they had to live off of what they saved for retirement because they were let go before they reached retirement.

The deal was 65, and it should be changed back to 65!  We need the jobs to come back to the US.

rhdocz3de3jhojagcpjb

We need people to be able to work until retirement instead of being subjugated to part time retail jobs meant for kids in high school.  By the way Wall-Mart got rid of their door greeters, which was my retirement strategy…..  I love people, what can I say….

We have some tough challenges ahead of us and the next president had best be up for the challenge and really needs to be in tune with the folks who pay for everything, the middle class.

Socialism, slavery and the American way

Socialism, slavery and the American way

There is much confusion over this.  I would like to try and shed a little light on this and see if we cant chase away some of the confusion.

In a nutshell Socialism is basically Robin Hood.  Not the cute fox on the Disney version but a bloated bureaucracy that think that they know better than you, on how to spend your money.  Some take it further by making laws that you must follow but they don’t have to.

Some elites think that they know what is best for you to eat or not to eat and how you should live and what you should do and or watch etc.  China still is this way along with North Korea and most if the Middle East.  They take it to an extreme of not allowing their women many if any rights that the males enjoy.

bernie-sanders-750x355

I digress, those who vote for such people that claim socialism as their trademark want free stuff.  Indeed the politician will promise their constituents all kinds of stuff and somehow it is the “fat cat bankers” on Wall Street that must pay!

The problem with that however is it is not the fat cat bankers who pay, it is anyone that works for a living and is not satisfied with living in section 8 housing, and sucking on the government tit!  People who decided that they wanted better than to live in the hood, buying and selling drugs and learning how to look innocent in a police lineup pay!

Socialism today is portrayed more as a contest between those without and “white privilege!”

If you are white and living in a nice house, you are a bad person because you have stuff, and it should be taken from you!  I wish I was making this up but that is the pervasive attitude among those that are the “have nots!”  Their votes are purchased by the promise of more free stuff including cell phones!

These have not’s have cell phones, a roof over their heads, air-conditioning and heat, cable TV, Internet and flat screen TV’s!  And are under the delusion that they are somehow entitled to it for free pervades their attitude and that of the black life matters crowd who formed an entire meme on a complete and utter falsehood! The narrative is false!  The narrative however makes the news when they push Bernie Sanders off the stage and co-opt his rally to talk down to  several thousand “progressive” white folks who actually are on their side!

On this subject “All Lives Matter!”  If you have some sort of issue with that open that book that you take to church with you sometime, and find anything in there that delineates between what lives matter and which ones don’t!  While some vessels were indeed made to be destroyed guess what, that is not your call, or mine.  That one belongs to your creator and has nothing to do with actually killing people on this earth!   From inception to natural death, every life matters, and is loved by our lord and anyone that thinks different is in error!

Skin color does not make a person who he or she is and if you don’t think that is so, think again.  Character of the person is the most important thing to look for when choosing friends or candidates for political office!  Character is all that matters when it comes to someone that you would send to Washington to represent you.

How much of what someone else earns is your fair share?

The answer is not a damned bit of it!

If your neighbor gets his or her ass out of bed in the morning, goes to work faithfully and brings home groceries those are his, for his family, not for you who slept all day.  If you need a hand up, great!  If it a handout, you best go and speak with the clergy.  That is part of their business.

We in fact were made to work.  We were designed by God to work.  Everything you do in life, do it for his glory!  How hard is that to comprehend?

It is hard to love, when you heart is full of hate.  It is easy to blame others for your lot in life.

Seriously I continue to see people stoking the race debate and how black people are somehow owed more stuff from white people because we bought you and sold you into slavery.  Well, not you personally and not me personally but, 300 plus years ago somebody did and now, somehow we as a nation should pay for it, again!

Correcting the record

Slavery did not start with the Spaniards and Africans.

Slavery began thousands of years ago.  Even during the time of Jesus 2000 years ago there were slaves, and it was not divided by color.

Some of the most mistreated slaves of “modern day” were the Irish!

Here is a small excerpt from a blog on Irish Slavery. (1)

King James II and Charles I also led a continued effort to enslave the Irish. Britain’s famed Oliver Cromwell furthered this practice of dehumanizing one’s next door neighbor.

The Irish slave trade began when James II sold 30,000 Irish prisoners as slaves to the New World. His Proclamation of 1625 required Irish political prisoners be sent overseas and sold to English settlers in the West Indies. By the mid 1600s, the Irish were the main slaves sold to Antigua and Montserrat. At that time, 70% of the total population of Montserrat were Irish slaves.

Ireland quickly became the biggest source of human livestock for English merchants. The majority of the early slaves to the New World were actually white.

From 1641 to 1652, over 500,000 Irish were killed by the English and another 300,000 were sold as slaves. Ireland’s population fell from about 1,500,000 to 600,000 in one single decade. Families were ripped apart as the British did not allow Irish dads to take their wives and children with them across the Atlantic. This led to a helpless population of homeless women and children. Britain’s solution was to auction them off as well.

During the 1650s, over 100,000 Irish children between the ages of 10 and 14 were taken from their parents and sold as slaves in the West Indies, Virginia and New England. In this decade, 52,000 Irish (mostly women and children) were sold to Barbados and Virginia. Another 30,000 Irish men and women were also transported and sold to the highest bidder. In 1656, Cromwell ordered that 2000 Irish children be taken to Jamaica and sold as slaves to English settlers.

Many people today will avoid calling the Irish slaves what they truly were: Slaves. They’ll come up with terms like “Indentured Servants” to describe what occurred to the Irish. However, in most cases from the 17th and 18th centuries, Irish slaves were nothing more than human cattle.

As an example, the African slave trade was just beginning during this same period. It is well recorded that African slaves, not tainted with the stain of the hated Catholic theology and more expensive to purchase, were often treated far better than their Irish counterparts.

African slaves were very expensive during the late 1600s (50 Sterling). Irish slaves came cheap (no more than 5 Sterling). If a planter whipped or branded or beat an Irish slave to death, it was never a crime. A death was a monetary setback, but far cheaper than killing a more expensive African. The English masters quickly began breeding the Irish women for both their own personal pleasure and for greater profit. Children of slaves were themselves slaves, which increased the size of the master’s free workforce. Even if an Irish woman somehow obtained her freedom, her kids would remain slaves of her master. Thus, Irish moms, even with this new found emancipation, would seldom abandon their kids and would remain in servitude.

In time, the English thought of a better way to use these women (in many cases, girls as young as 12) to increase their market share: The settlers began to breed Irish women and girls with African men to produce slaves with a distinct complexion. These new “mulatto” slaves brought a higher price than Irish livestock and, likewise, enabled the settlers to save money rather than purchase new African slaves. This practice of interbreeding Irish females with African men went on for several decades and was so widespread that, in 1681, legislation was passed “forbidding the practice of mating Irish slave women to African slave men for the purpose of producing slaves for sale.” In short, it was stopped only because it interfered with the profits of a large slave transport company.

England continued to ship tens of thousands of Irish slaves for more than a century. Records state that, after the 1798 Irish Rebellion, thousands of Irish slaves were sold to both America and Australia. There were horrible abuses of both African and Irish captives. One British ship even dumped 1,302 slaves into the Atlantic Ocean so that the crew would have plenty of food to eat.

There is little question that the Irish experienced the horrors of slavery as much (if not more in the 17th Century) as the Africans did. There is, also, very little question that those brown, tanned faces you witness in your travels to the West Indies are very likely a combination of African and Irish ancestry. In 1839, Britain finally decided on it’s own to end it’s participation in Satan’s highway to hell and stopped transporting slaves. While their decision did not stop pirates from doing what they desired, the new law slowly concluded THIS chapter of nightmarish Irish misery.

But, if anyone, black or white, believes that slavery was only an African experience, then they’ve got it completely wrong.

Irish slavery is a subject worth remembering, not erasing from our memories.

The simple facts are that all through history people have been repressed by a ruling class.

North Korea currently to date is a xenophobic country that keeps its people in the dark to control them, and of course, if we really knew what was going on there would be public outcry!  Those people are slaves and they are lied to by their government.  If you could talk to them they would tell you that they are happy, and love their dear leader and the rest of the world is the “great Satan! “  Why, their entire environment is controlled.  No internet, social media, nada.

During WWII the Japanese people were lied to as well.  They were so brainwashed that the kamikaze pilot was born.  Not only were the pilots brainwashed but, the Japanese people were brainwashed to the extent that as the American forces captured an island the indigenous people would throw their babies off of the cliffs, and then jump after them committing suicide! Why, what were they told that would cause this.  They were made to believe that Americans were so bad, so depraved that they would “eat them alive!”  Now you can laugh at that but, they must have been convincing as the preponderance of evidence is astounding! Propaganda works!

My whole point to this is “seek the truth.”  If you listen to the race baiters who profit by lying to you, your future is grim.  I think Dr. Carson has a great message and it is my fervent prayer that Americans of all walks of life, will listen to him.

This of course was my prayer for Obama.  Here Americans elected a black president!  Wow, how uplifting is that!  And before his first month in office he systematically brought race relations back 60 years!  “They acted stupidly! If I had a son he would look just like Trayvon.”  When Ferguson occurred he once again vilified the cops who in the end were spot on correct, but yet the lie continues!  Hands up, don’t shoot!

Chris Rock and others of his ilk are out there promoting hate and discontent.  How absolutely insidious are his actions they should be and to me are tantamount to yelling fire in a theater! When you reach “celebrity status” that comes with responsibility!  Start by telling the truth and if you think what you are telling is the truth, pick up a damned book!  If you are too lazy to read, send me a note, and I will fill you in on the details!

By the way, black people sold black people into slavery, do you really think that a bunch of short white guys went running around the jungles of Africa among the head hunters of the time, rounding people up to put them on ships!?

Warring tribes took prisoners and sold them as you might sell cattle to the Spaniards, and others for things like colorful beads.

The simple facts and the truth is that some of history is ugly! The human race has done some horrible things and it still continues to this day.  Watch the news for a little bit and you will shake your head.  To quote one of my friends, “that is messed up!”  What do you do?  You read it, understand what happened and do your best to keep it from happening again. Speaking of slaves do you know how they were controlled as a people?  They were kept ignorant.  It was unlawful to teach them to read.  Sound familiar?

So, aren’t you glad that slavery is over, dead, gone and buried!?

Well let me ask you this, is it?

I know people with a college degree working for peanuts.  They can’t even find full time work!  Why is that do you suppose?

I know, they are not looking hard enough.

Maybe they are not that smart.

Maybe there is nothing in their line of expertise available.

There are in fact three basic facts in this country today, which contribute to the problem.

  • Outsourcing
  • Immigration
  • Obamacare

When the internet really became a global thing it made it much easier to outsource.  Instead of creating a PVC or permanent virtual circuit that you would create through the local Telco’s and other communication giants, now you simply create a VPN or Virtual Private Network through the internet.

What effect did that have you ask?  Instead of paying hundreds if not thousands of dollars a month for connectivity you simply put in one T1 line direct to the internet and with the trick of software and encryption, you utilized the public infrastructure to move data, voice, streaming audio and so forth around the world!  With this technology I can send a phone to a worker in the Philippines and when someone calls it on my business network, in the states; it will ring in the Philippines on that persons’s desk.  If I want to have a meeting with my workers in Bangladesh, I simply initiate a video conference, and I am there!

If I am a technology company that creates software for companies here; I send out a smartly dressed and well-spoken person to represent my company.  He or she gets the contract, collects the SOW (statement of work) and works with my project manager here who directs the actual programming efforts in India, where my labor cost can be better managed (much more cheaply than programmers here in the states.)

I then can compete with my American counterpart where he is using American programmers, I can win the bid because I can undercut him or her by tens of thousands of dollars, and still make good profit for my company. The American company has no idea that his program is being worked on outside of the states.

Let’s say I am a huge computer company and I need support people.  Once again I have that VPN with the VOIP telephones (voice over IP) set up on desk in call centers all over the world.  You call for help, and you are talking to KIM or Paul or John which are pseudo names for “Peggy in Siberia” whose real name has more consonants than vowels.

Why do you think computer support via phone starts out with unplug the computer first?  They have a script that they must follow that was created from thousands of support calls.

Now let’s say I am that same computer company but I need some engineers, actually here in the states.

American workers want 6 figures and are probably worth it but, why pay that for one when I can pay that for 3? So I go to the lobbyist that gave money to some senator indirectly from me and tell them that I need more H1-B workers.  He remembers me because I gave money to him for his “person” so, he goes to them and puts a bill in front of them that he or they wrote for him, saying that we need more technical people because “there are simply no skilled people in this country, our education system has simply failed!”

Within months the limit is raised a few more thousand and I get a dozen or so highly trained engineers from some country that hates Americans, but loves our freedoms!  Of course I get them for the cost of what I could only afford two or three Americans!

Now you have all of the highly trained people who are Americans that can’t find work so what do they do?  They go on the government tit if they can, or they take some lower paying job and try to make ends meet.  Well, they were used to $100 thousand a year but, Home Depot is only paying $10 an hour, and only part time (anything less than 32 hours) because well, there is this pesky new health care law that would force them to pay for health care or pay fines for full time employees.

So this highly skilled person who has been replaced by three H1-B people seeks two part time jobs in retail!  Still part time and his average yearly pay went from $125K to $30K, working two part time jobs!  He or she has to use their 401 prematurely suffering a healthy early withdrawal tax to make ends meet.

Oh and by the way he or she has to pay for health care because it is now a law and because they are rich making $30K a year their health care cost is $526 a month.

Their kids who just graduated college can’t find work in their field so they too are working retail but their health care is only $210 a month because they are only making $12K and yes, still living in the bedroom that they grew up in and still eating mom and dads groceries, using their internet and air conditioning and water and complaining because they are asked to load the dishwasher!.

In competition for these jobs driving the labor prices down even further are millions of “undocumented workers” who get free health care, WIC and other government subsidies.

I don’t know, do you think slavery is a dead and gone thing.  How is that socialism working out for you?

That is the progressive agenda you know…

The good folks in congress and certainly 1600 Pennsylvania Ave don’t want you to know how this all works though.  So, they draw your attention by strange happenings including Hillary Clintons e-mail which I would bet money is being “rolled under the bus” by the white house, as a distraction!

The following is a link to the blog on Irish Slavery that is a good read.

The simple facts are the more truth that you know, the less you can be fooled by those that wish to keep the masses ignorant and dependent.  This is not an R or D thing, or a white and black thing, but a character thing.  I encourage everyone to read and know history before we repeat it.  Communism and Socialism cannot work for the people.  It only benefits those in the Ivory towers who could care less about you and your problems.  They want your vote, and would do away with the Constitution if they could, thus doing away with the need to even talk at you.

Debate Questions I would like to see answered

Debate Questions I would like to see answered

candidates1Questions to those who for some reason think that they are good enough to run for president of the most powerful country in the world.

Dr. Carson and Dr. Paul, as you both have taken an oath to do no harm; how can you as the president, give the call to obliterate people, in the event of war? Is that not “harm?”

Could you see yourselves giving the call to drop nukes on a people if they were a threat to the homeland?  If there was a call at 3AM, would you be there to answer it?

bernie-sanders-750x355

Mr. Sanders, As a self-proclaimed Socialist, how can you stand in front of the American people and ask those of us that work, to give an equal amount or more to those that “don’t want to work?”  History has taught us time and time again that socialism does not work!

What part of that which you did not work for is your fair share?

donald-trump

Mr. Trump, how can you expect to run an entire country and have the time to run your businesses?  Would we as a people not be electing a “part-time” president?

hillary-clinton-2016

Mrs. Clinton, really!  How stupid do you think that the American people are?  You clearly are not “broke.”  You know the “art of the deal” as well as Mr. Trump; why don’t you simply retire and enjoy what your speeches and other political arrangements have done for you both.  Do you really feel that the country would benefit under 4 or 8 more years of Clinton rule and if so “why……..?”

Carly, how would you deal with the massive amounts of debt?  I would like to see a detailed plan of how you intend to turn this train wreck around before the US goes the way of Greece!

I fail to see why politicians, and even our all-knowing media has not put the problem together for the American people.  The media tends to take this as separate issues and it is really all of the same issue.

The smoke screen

  • Economy
  • Jobs
  • Immigration
  • Obama Care

Companies flood the high tech workforce with H1-B workers and even get some from student Visas thus, bringing the supply and demand down to a manageable level where companies can afford to pay lower wages for high tech employees.

Illegals or undocumented workers flood the work force. They say that they only take jobs that Americans would not take but, that is why there are 47 million on food stamps.  That is why black unemployment is much higher than white unemployment.  Simple economics and no one gets it.

With Obama Care, companies responded by only hiring part time thus doing away with having to pay for Obama care or some other kind of government imposed health care or government fines.  That drove the unemployment numbers down because companies needed twice as many part time folks to get the job done. They are trying to mask the problem by pushing the minimum wage up to make the difference but, that will only raise the cost of goods and services as well as drive the small business owner out of business.

Der Untergang der Titanic
Der Untergang der Titanic

So candidates, how would you fix this mess without running this ship into an iceberg?

Some of you have said that we must once again raise the age group for the folks who draw Social Security and even means test it.  To those of you who don’t follow political speak; that means that if you are anywhere above poverty in your old age, let’s say you planned ahead unlike our government. Well, you don’t qualify for the money that you paid into the system all of those years!

Mr. Huckabee is right on this.  That is theft!

Don’t you think it terribly narcissistic that you think that you are good enough to “be the president” of this country?  If not than tell me why.  Why do you think that you are uniquely qualified to run this country and be a world leader?

  • How do you get the border secure as we have not managed to do it in at least 30 years!
  • How do you get the Mexican Government to work with us on securing the border and stop the flow of people from their country into the US?
  • Currently the US has made an industry out of Incarceration?  What do you do to turn that around?

Media, why….why are you so terribly biased.  Who is pulling your strings? What happened to journalistic integrity where you simply and objectively report the news, instead of creating a narrative?  Is getting the first question or interview from the president worth your integrity?  I understand ratings but clearly you can see that if ratings are your reason, FOX has you beat hands down!

These are just a scant few questions that I would like to see asked of the presidential want to bees, as well as the media.

Good night and Good luck!

GOP Debate, my take

GOP Debate, my take

First Look

We saw them, for the most part out of their element and some in their place.  The candidates that were in their element did not interest me as much the people who were not.

The first group to succumb to the debate process clearly showed why they were at the “kids table” or not ready for prime time, with the exception of Carly Fiorina.   If the DNC still feels compelled to run Hillary as their pick, Carly would be a formidable candidate for the GOP.

fiorina

From the adults table which admittedly Carly should have been at, there were a few front runners and some that fell flat.

From stage left to right…

ChrisChristiePointing640

  • Chris Christie made an ok showing and I expect his numbers will get a bump from the debate.  His answers were fairly clear and his rhetoric was loud as expected.  His response to  Rand Paul regarding the “hug” was on point and clearly hit a cord with people who took offence with MR Paul’s  attack.

l3r5Akro

  • Marco Rubio did not hurt himself and I think his numbers too will get a bump.   I think that he appeals to the Millennials and the libertarians and could be a draw from the Democratic voters as he is not a “stogy old white guy.”

REUTERS/Jonathan Ernst (UNITED STATES – Tags: POLITICS HEALTH) REUTERS /JONATHAN ERNST /LANDOV
  • Ben Carson while soft spoken was one of the adults that was in the room last night.  Clearly an educated man, a thinker and strategist also showed a sense of humor that I think will bode well with voters of all walks of life.  Dr. Carson is not a politician and I think needs to watch carefully what balls that he decides to swing at as he has already swung at too many which were in the dirt.  His performance during the debate was good and he was clearly not a target of the moderators. If he progresses he will be, and the next moderators will not be near as friendly.

Scott-Walker-Image-998x792

  • Scott Walker made some good points but clearly not a front runner in the campaign.  I do not expect his numbers to move much.  His record is impressive and he is a scrapper.  Some of what he said will resonate with the working class “the middle class” I think he will have to amp it up a little if he wants to stay the course.
THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE -- Episode 912 -- Pictured: Donald Trump -- Photo by: Ali Goldstein/NBC
THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE — Episode 912 — Pictured: Donald Trump — Photo by: Ali Goldstein/NBC
  • Donald Trump.  Donald is an unknown in the political arena and is carrying his numbers because of his celebrity status.  People are genuinely sick of politicians in general, so his message resonates with the masses. His tone with Megyn Kelly was stupid, and showed his arrogance which as a politician, you cannot do.  Megyn Kelly and indeed Fox news is on the side of the republicans and to alienate them is a mistake.  Further; his remarks about women in general did not go over well, and the DNC will use that to their advantage should he become the candidate.  Mr. Trump; if he is serious should hire one of the best PR firms in the country to do damage control.  He should also hire someone that knows something about politicians and how to make Donald more of a statesmen, while maintaining his moxie, which resonates with the folks.  I think he could do well and indeed become the next president.  Last night should serve as a wake-up call for Mr. Trump. He is out of his sandbox and needs to adapt.  The DNC has enough material on him now that it will be tough to overcome even to the likes of Hillary.  The War on women will resonate with enough women voters to throw the election to Hillary, if Donald is not careful.

AP_jeb_bush_2_jt_150218_16x9_992

  • Jeb Bush.  When people look at Jeb they see George W.  There simply is no way around it.  Jeb can either work with his last name as an advantage and stop trying to disassociate himself from it, or he should stop wasting his money and time.  Jeb is a Bush and he needs to deal with it.  Whoever is advising him currently needs to re-think their strategy. Common Core is a mistake and he needs to get away from it.  The federal government should step back from this issue entirely and leave it to the states.  Focus on keeping Americans Safe, the economy and jobs.  “Immigration” which was the “elephant” in the room; needs to be dealt with in a manner that does not screw over the people who have come here legally or Americans.  There is no amnesty.  We are a country of laws, and without that we are nothing.

  • Huckabee’s numbers should improve after the debate.  His answers were clear and concise and should resonate with many.  “The purpose of the military is to kill and to break things!”  While that is a great sound bite one could take away from his comment that all we need is a bunch of two year old’s.I am not certain if the military will receive that comment well or not, they are clearly more than that.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) speaks during the Family Leadership Summit in Ames, Iowa, on Aug. 10.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) speaks during the Family Leadership Summit in Ames, Iowa, on Aug. 10.
  • Ted Cruz was probably the winner of the debate but, I cannot help but think that he is too slick and is looking forward to being the “most powerful man in the world” and that bothers me.  What motivates anyone to want to take this job should be center of the conversation. Narcissism is certainly not out of the realm of possibility and we already have a president who claims that title.

rand paul

  • Rand Paul’s numbers I suspect will not move one way or the other by much after his showing at this debate.  I suspect if they do move they will put him at the kids table and elevate Carly and or Perry. He came off as angry and bitter and somewhat whiney.

  • John Kasich was hardly memorable in his performance last night.  He came off as likeable but like Bush, I have to look at notes to remember what he said.  My opinion of him is that he is too established as a politician and will be four more years of status quo.

candidates1

Trump resonates because Americans are really sick of what we have in DC.  Back door deals for 20% of our Uranium to Russia is one such example that if it were put to a vote would be a resounding hell no; except for the percentage of delusionary voters out there who think Obama is the Messiah, and Hillary the next Noah.

Politicians have at their disposal, not only technology, but incredible databases “provided by Facebook and Google and others” to allow the targeting of advertisements to certain groups, for maximum effectiveness in order to manipulate the voters.   They are also amassing millions of dollars to spend on their campaigns.

Viewership of this debate was high because of Mr. Trump.  That inclusiveness of more viewers will make those methods of manipulation more difficult, as lots of democrats got a look at the candidates without the lens of MSNBC putting their very biased slant on it.   Thinking people may actually begin to question the talking heads of the progressive agenda by seeing things without slant.  These same folks also saw that FOX news did not play favorites as they are accused of by MSNBC and other outlets.  Indeed they asked the tough questions which Donald Trump and others should have expected and been prepped for.  Donald in his obvious hubris, was not prepared.  I doubt that he will make that mistake again.  To Donald’s credit, his answers were honest and truthful and for that I suspect many Americans will respect that he is who he is, and what you see is what you get.  If he were elected, I have no doubt that our foreign affairs would be different and that Putin would not be as aggressive as he currently is.

Trump needs to reign in whoever is doing his twitter, and other social media.

While she was not easy on him during this debate, she is certainly not a Bimbo.  If Trump stays the course he will face a lot tougher moderators from the liberal media and he should have been prepared for this. Anything that you have ever done is fair game in a presidential debate.  Hiring someone to prep him for such things would be a very wise investment!  If he already has such a person, the meeting with them today should include the words “your fired!”

The Trump Effect

The Trump Effect

You know that you are entering into a political season when Robin Hood, disguised as a politician forces business’s to pay wages that are reserved for those who actually “know how to work!”

Here is the thing, minimum wage jobs are for kids that are just entering into the work force, and don’t have any idea what a work ethic is.  These kids are used to sleeping late during the summer months, staying up late with friends or the computer or what have you; and basically bitching about the inequality of life as they don’t have a car and or unlimited resources at their disposal, and complain incessantly with the ubiquitous infamous words of youth, ”it’s not fair!”

As highly skilled computer professionals, saw their jobs replaced by H1-B people, we wonder how this happens.  The argument is, or was, that there are not enough professionals in this country, so we need to import them.  Our scholastic acumen, or lack thereof was used as the catalyst for the conversation but, most American’s slept through that as well.  That soccer is important…  You know we don’t keep score right, we don’t want to damage their self-esteem.

If you watch Jesse Watters on Fox, he interviews these stoned college kids and makes me believe that we need to import talent.

That narrative was (which is false,) but those with big budgets to contribute through lobbyist to make their case to whatever law-maker that needed funding for re-election (all or any of them)  do so with impunity and little regard for Americans!  It is all about the bottom line, and nothing else.

(How do I produce and sell the most widgets in the least expensive way?)

Companies like Microsoft, Apple, Google and Boing to name a scant few, testified that they cannot get the talent that they need in America, so the limits to H1-B visas must be increased.  With over 500,000 people at any given time from different countries taking high-tech American jobs, they continue to lobby for more.  They pay them less, and they are not contractually obligated to them, as they might be with a US citizen.

The real problem is, that they cannot get the talent that they need with Americans for “really cheap prices!  As if the half million H1_b folks is not enough, they also recruit from people here in the US, on other types of Visas like student Visa’s.  Some of these convert through the “green card” process thus they leave openings for more H1_b opportunities.

Donald Trump said something yesterday at the Mexican border that caught my attention.

“I have thousands of Mexicans working for me, and had tens of Thousands over the years, they love me!”  He went on to say that he will bring the jobs back from Japan and China and “the Mexicans will get them!””

Now let that settle in for just a minute.  … What about Americans DON!?

Immigration has, and will always be about cheap labor! These folks that supposedly have more skills than Americans is absolute BS!  I have run into many skilled people who were replaced by someone from another country for half their salary and, they could not find a comparable job to replace it so they are either un-employed or under-employed.

The reason had nothing to do with their qualifications, it is because they had reached middle-age and by that time you are used to making reasonable good money.  Companies don’t want to pay “reasonable good money,” so they hire from other countries.

Donald Trump is not a politician, he is a business man.  Had he been a seasoned politician he would not have disclosed that fact simply to get the Hispanics to “warm up to him.”  Anyone with a brain that might also happen to be un-employed or under-employed, will remember where his loyalties are when they vote.

Rick Perry called Trump a cancer to the Republican Party.  Trump is a cancer to the entire political class but not really a cancer in my eyes.  Trump is shining a light on, and exposing the flaws in all politicians in the “good ol boy club” that Americans are oblivious to.

You are too busy with the kids, the soccer, baseball, the news is depressing, and so you tune out!  You are missing out, and if you take the time out of your busy schedule to vote,  you will either be voting by pulling the all R or all D lever, or you will be influenced by what the last smear campaign that you saw, said about the other guy, you know the one that steps on baby chickens for fun, or throws grandma off the cliff!  You are what Rush Limbaugh called the “low information voter!”   Not an insult, you simply don’t care and you “reason” or come up with the excuse that you are too busy!

Did I get your attention?

Until Trump either drops out, or becomes politically savvy, you have an opportunity to peek behind the curtain and see the wizard at work!  If allowed to continue un-fettered; Americans might get their first real look at how badly our government is truly infected with cancer, and how these folks are working for themselves and selling you out to the highest bidder.  Trump is not the cancer, Trump is a diagnostic instrument much like a CAT scan, exposing the cancer.

If Trump is allowed to continue, our government may actually have to work for us, the American People again, and not to fatten their own wallets!  Make no mistake, DC is the good ol boy club and those lobbyist payed by big business are working contrary to the American middle class folks who, are constantly a talking point; but never really helped as they prop up the entire country!

If you are the middle class of which I speak, take a bow!  When you are doing so, make certain a politician is not behind you ready to…well you know…stick it in you!

The poor take from the middle class and somehow feel justified by taking from the “haves.”  The rich are smart enough to avoid paying into the system, so they hide money off-shore and basically have people who are smarter than they are, manage their money, to pay the very least in taxes.  The middle class are left to pay for everything and left just enough, “maybe” to survive and maybe afford a vacation to places to see where the rich and famous live.  Folks, the rich and famous “not all but most” get there by exploiting you!  Now pay attention and we might can change some of this, or go back to your sitcoms!

How much of what someone else worked for is your fair share?

Trump for instance made his money in real estate.  Why in real estate? The thousands of pages of tax code (that code that screws the middle class) is geared towards more favorable tax status, if you invest in real estate.

  • The H1-B is about exploiting people from other countries, for cheap labor.
  • Immigration is about exploiting people from other countries, for cheap labor and votes!
  • Outsourcing is about exploiting people from other countries for, cheap labor; while giving the false appearance of being an American company loving Americans!

Some of these high-tech companies hire well-spoken Americans to interface between their company and their clients.  Their job is to sell that company to the client and interface with, or be the liaison between them, and the folks that actually manage the projects back in India, or some other 3rd world country.  The client thinks that Americans are doing the job but in fact it is auctioned off to the lowest bidder.

Marco Rubio appears to have some idea of what is going on in this arena, and is for stopping all forms of immigration until we get a handle on it.  If that is real and not just political rhetoric, he gets my attention.

The simple facts are that Americans are hurting, and it is big business doing it to us, through our own government, you know the ones created by us, which are supposed to be,… for us!!!

If any of these bozo politicians had ever gone to a job fair for “technical people” they would see thousands of applicants line up for two or three possible jobs of which those companies will have thousands of candidates to choose from.  The applicant hired will most likely be some kid fresh from college.  Not because this kid is the most qualified, simply because he is a kid, and they can start him out at $15 and hour vs the $50 to $125 and hour that the qualified person should command.

There is the rub, isn’t it… $15 and hour….

Our government is pushing for a minimum wage increase and in some states it is $15 an hour.  You can tell that those politicians slept through economics, or they need a diversion!

  • If I double the salary of a burger flipper, what has to happen to the price of my goods?
  • How do I stay competitive with the other burger company who manage not to comply with that law, maybe it is family owned burger flipper company and he can treat his family different than normal employees?
  • Cut my expenses.
  • Cheaper meat, cheaper rent, turn the air up or off?
  • Less employees?
  • Do more of the work myself?
  • What corners can I cut without endangering the health of my customers?
  • Close the business and go to work for the competition?

Now let’s flip the coin, I have city workers making $15 an hour doing menial, but necessary task like garbage collector or ditch digger.  How are they going to feel about their kid making the same amount of money that they are making and they have been there ten years!?  Do you know that some firefighters make a whopping $22K a year!?  In case your math is bad or you slept through school that is $10.57 an hour!  Are you beginning to see the problem?

  • Government has no business injecting itself into this.
  • Governments’ primary business is to keep Americans Safe!
  • The Government should do all they can to make certain that Americans excel, period, end of sentence!
  • Immigration should be limited and severely scrutinized.

We could take our que from Mexico, try to immigrate there!  You had best have lots of money and bring lots to the table or, good luck!

Australia, New Zealand … Better have a job lined up that only you can do!  Why in the world do we have to let anybody and everybody in, and pay for them to boot!?  Cheap labor and votes.

You thought slavery was dead…!  You thought that you could not buy an election.  Silly person!

I hope that Trump stays in this long enough to “infect” our political class.  They need to be forced to deal with reality that Americans are damned tired of being screwed over by the political elites in their Ivory towers!

I watched a “trump” liaison on the news last night talking with Frank Luntz.  I have to tell you the guy was so damned truculent, he pissed me off.  And that was the exact point that Frank was trying to make and this guy…clueless, went right over his head.  Go back and watch the interview.  Trump needs to be likable or people won’t vote for him.  Humility is a word that I expect Trump and his team are not familiar with.  If you don’t have one, hire someone that will tell you the truth and not what you want to hear.  I have fired more “yes-men” for simply being that.  As a businessman, I need the truth, not smoke up my ass!

Trump is actually waking up the sleeping tiger, or the elephant in the room; and I for one appreciate that!

The Trump Enigma

The Trump Enigma

I received an e-mail asking me why I keep referring to Trump as an enigma.

Enigma=a person of puzzling or contradictory character.

Trump who I have a great deal of respect for, is an Enigma.  The definition fits!

Why?  Why would someone with his wealth, waste his precious time on this earth to get into politics; much less run an entire country?

It has been said that the presidency of this nation is equal to the most powerful man on the planet.  Is that it?  Is it power?  Is Trump a narcissist ?

Putin might argue this, as might other world leaders including the infamous Kim Jung Un; who I am certain thinks the he is the most powerful man in the world.

Why do you think that these rogue countries want Nukes?

I personally don’t get involved in pissing contest and maybe this argument bodes well for a female president, as there is obviously a lack of adults in the world leadership role!

If anyone,  let me say this clearly, if anyone lobs a nuke anywhere; the stability of the world will be in jeopardy not only from a physical standpoint, but more importantly; and economic point of view.  Macroeconomics dictates, that if you destabilize a world player; you will topple down the entire “house of cards.”

I am convinced that is why the uber rich, aka George Soros meddles in the politics of different countries, he has this god complex.  Bloomberg also does, in his own way by doing silly ass things like, trying to make sugary drinks illegal.

Please boys, put them back in your pants, we have had enough of your juvenile behavior, and I for one am not impressed!

There is no winner with nukes, and truthfully there should be zero of them.  Like Guns, it would have been much better if the Ottoman Empire had never invented them.

Star Trek was ahead of its time in that they took on world issues and used them as story lines.

There was an episode (Taste of Armageddon) where different worlds were fighting a war electronically. If a city was hit, their people willingly walked into a disintegration chamber where they neatly and methodically were terminated.  Of course Capt. Kirk’s ship was hit and his people were expected to report for disintegration.

The Answer was to obviously bring reality back to these people who had made a “neat” business out of war.

A war without the mess.

Well war is messy, people die.  Buildings are destroyed.  Why?

Do you know that the human existence as far as time is concerned can be measured as during a war, post war or pre-war?  We folks, are a pitiful lot.  We behave like animals and Baltimore is only the most recent example.  Chattanooga breaks my heart and there is no reason for it.

I am convinced that if an alien civilization was looking us over for “first contact” they would steer clear and leave some sort of beacon around this solar system warning others to stay the hell away from these animals. Bradbury was ahead of his time.

Whoever gets into office can only do so much.  I place the blame for the racial unrest in this country square on the shoulders of our current president.  Dividing the country on racial lines as well as economic and sex for god’s sake served his purpose to get his agenda passed.  Congratulations…Hope you are really happy with what you have done!

I am so proud...
There are a lot of first with this president.. Waving with one finger for the world to see is most probably the a first for any “president.”

We cannot afford to have any more progressive people in power, and those are on both sides of the isle.  They must be voted out and replaced with john q public.  This was supposed to be a citizen government of the people, by the people and for the people.  It is not!  It is made up of privileged (mostly lawyers) who have no regard, or little regard for the constitution.

What is in it for me?  That is the first thing that they ask and what they seek.  Pitiful!

Which brings me around to the Enigma… Why?

Why would someone who has it all, spend so much of their time and resources to become the leader of this messed up country?

People died for this country and they are spat upon.  Hollywood elites make tons of money dissing these fine people.  Our country is upside down and we need someone to right things.

Bernie and Hillary are not it!  Career politicians are not it!  You, you maybe it.  Your children may be it.  Someone who gives a damn and maybe “mad as hell” maybe it!

If I could put together a list of people that I would like to see run this country; someone like Trump may very well be on top.  I like Scott Walker, not a lawyer.  I would like to see someone like Gordon Ramsey in the mix on the staff as it were.  I don’t know about Chris Christie.  I like his outspoken manner but, I don’t know where he is politically.  I think Carly Fiorina as a VP would be a good pick.  More thought on this as the days progress.

Hope this answers the question.
