HB 196

HB 196

Open letter to Terry Meza

Dear Terry, your bill HB 196 would seek to limit the homeowner’s rights to defend himself or his or her property. Your bill would also create a doubt in the would-be victim’s mind as to whether they are within their legal rights to defend themselves. A second of hesitation could get the victim killed.  You are confusing the issue, conflating garden gnome’s with tangible property and or life.

In a life-or-death situation, the last thing the victim needs is doubt.  If they are reasonably afraid for their lives, they should defend themselves to the fullest extent of the law…period.

Not long ago, this same type of thinking was pervasive in our now President Biden, who said at the time, ‘If a woman is going to get raped, she should pee herself.’

Your bill would make it easier for some attorney to go after the victim, and you and I both know this is not about ‘lawn ornaments.’ That is lawyer-speak to play to the emotions of the feeble-minded.

We all have choices to make. They can choose to steal and take their chances or decide not to steal.  They can choose to rape or home invade or decide not to.  We, the law-abiding, have our rights under assault by this Congress, currently attacking the second amendment, while we on a parallel front have lunatics calling for defunding the police.

If the police act in a way that contradicts the way they should, then more training and better hiring practices are what we should be advocating.

Adding to this problem, we have a massive influx of aliens who we know by their actions don’t respect our laws.

There is currently a rash of catalytic converters stolen from vehicles. The cost to repair starts at $1000.00 and could go as high as $4,000 if they don’t do any other damage while hacking it off your car.  That is hardly a garden gnome.

Why don’t you create a bill that would fine the crap out of those that buy stolen catalytic convertors?

Removing the reward for theft of ‘garden gnomes’ seems like where we should be spending our energy.

I would require that all catalytic convertors be serialized. Those that bring them in for ‘recycle’ must provide identification, including utility bills, to prove that the identity was not fake. A log book should be created and maintained to insure that the ‘recycler’ is on the up and up. The former would take a Congressional act, and the latter could be implemented with an executive order.

Open Letter to Greg Abbot

Open Letter to Greg Abbot

With the latest power issues in Texas, one would think that we wouldn’t have these issues in a country like this.

“But it is cold.”

And, in the summer it is hot.  The last time I mentioned to the city where I live, we had not enough water, trash pickup, and now electricity to add more businesses and apartments I was told to sit down and shut up.  (in so many words)

It is all about taxable revenue.  When I mentioned that to the city, they told me, “We have more churches than other cities, and they don’t pay taxes! We have to stay competitive.”

We have lost sight of the ball.  When we can’t take care of what we have, we don’t need to add more.

Government is over-bloated and is more concerned about ways to keep their jobs and bring in more revenue than taking care of their constituents.  Many of those are elected, and trust me, that can be remedied.

One cold snap and millions are without power.  This incident was not even ice-related. It was supply and demand.

Maybe some child who knows nothing of economics or how the government works and thinks, might buy that. It is a crap argument. It is all about supply and demand.

In my line of work, we do something called a root cause analysis.

Why did it happen, and what can we do to better prepare for the next time.

We have not invested in the infrastructure or planned worth a damned for there to be power outages to the tune of millions of people because there is not enough supply.

Mr. Abbot, heads need to roll.

February and March are the cold months in Texas; the rest are hot and hotter.

We see California going through this because they have not invested in their infrastructure.  I thought we were better than the Golden State.

You owe it to the people of Texas to do this root cause analysis and then tell us how you are going to fix the problem.

Platitudes, and turn off your heat or air and don’t run anything that uses electricity is not the answer.  Controlled power outages are not the answer.

ERCOT needs to be held to account for this.

I have lived in Texas since 1962.  This cold snap is not our first, and it will not be our last.  Next Summer will not be our first days over 100.

If you want to attract more revenue in the form of a tax base, prove to the tax base that you have that you are worthy of it.

Pelosi wants a 911 commission to distract the country from its bumbling of issues.  Maybe we should have a 911 commission to see how this happened. My guess is that you all already know, and knew it was a possibility.  If that is the case, that makes you all negligent.

Media Bias

Media Bias

Today in the new, the President’s legal team wrapped up their case.  By all accounts, they should move to acquit and get back to the business of the people.

What we are not hearing about in the media is a possible pandemic.  To date, 131 people have died from the coronavirus.  What they have not reported on is the coronavirus is and has been a problem in dogs, and the Chinese eat dogs.

Viruses mutate, so it is no surprise that ingesting dogs might have something to do with how it began.

If it indeed has mutated to now be transmitted human to human, the number of 131 deaths of 1-28-2020 will be higher by 1-29-2020.  Depending upon the veracity of the disease, the amount will increase logarithmically.

Why the US is still accepting flights from China is questionable, but here is the kicker, as we are a very mobile society, the virus could quickly become a worldwide pandemic in no time.

Of course, the mainstream media is focused on calling Trump supporters Credulous Rubes.

Since CNN pays to have all airports only have CNN on its televisions, one might think that they would fulfill the role of ‘actual news’ instead of meddling in the upcoming elections.

Another story that is very important is the Chinese spy ring that we have captured in the US.  No, you didn’t hear about it because it does not fit the hate trump narrative. From a Harvard professor to students sneaking technology and biochemical research out of the country to China, should have made the news.  It didn’t.’ But we know that John Bolton is writing a book and someone alleged that he leaked something to the New York Times.

You didn’t hear that the Democratic Party is falling apart, and they don’t have a good strategy nor a qualified candidate.  You don’t know that Joe Biden should not be running nor even driving, because of his mental state, they don’t like Warren and they certainly know that the Socialist Bernie Sanders cannot beat Trump, so they are pushing Bloomberg to the top using lots of money to purchase air time to attack Trump on made-up numbers and so forth.

You didn’t hear any of that because they are too busy on their campaign to destroy Trump by death with a thousand cuts.   By attacking his ‘Credulous Rubes or the Deplorable’s, which are too stupid to know that they should not be trusted with the vote. Those with money and power hope to keep 65 million of us silent, while they go after Trump on made-up facts.

You might not have heard that once again, the yapping heads on CNN think it would be improper for Trump to give the State of the Union Address as then the American people would hear his voice.  This whole Impeachment thing has been about destroying his credibility and swaying people in the electorate who think Socialism is a good thing.

Yes, the media is the enemy of the republic and is part of the left-wing crazies who ilk, like them, has destroyed country after country, while raping their people, resources, and wealth.  In short, these people are not your friends, on your side or have your back etc.  They are out for what they can get from you while promising you the world.

There are no free lunches and no free anything in this world.  Someone paid for it.

It is time we demand Term Limits be on the ballot for all officials.

It is time we create an accountability law for the media.  If they profess to be a journalist, they must damned well act like it.

Stalin said the sharpest tool in his weaponry was the written word.  With CNN and social media, we have no idea if the trolls from other countries or the MSM is a more significant threat to our democracy.

Apple Update: Do you want to do it now or later, or never?

Apple Update: Do you want to do it now or later, or never?

This notice used to be no cause for alarm. Having been in the computer business for some time updates were always rather innocuous.

Novell was the first program that I dealt with that you had to read each and every “readme” and decide if you indeed wanted this patch or that.

Patches were not mandatory they were written for specific bugs or concerns.  The problem with patches like that are, they can only be applied during a “service window.”

A service window is a time of the day and week when ordinary people are sleeping or not thinking about work. Holidays were great times for service windows as applying a patch would be the least disruptive for business functions.  Midnight to five AM Saturday night into Sunday morning was usually a good time for a service window.

While Microsoft has taken the guesswork out of service windows, it would seem that Apple has as well.

You turn on your PC, and it says, applying updates, please stand by.

No matter how urgent your need is the updates will commence, and you will be patient.

With this latest phone update that crippled my one-year-old phone, I am a little gun-shy about taking any more updates from Apple. I am thrilled that they are going to repatriate billions of dollars bringing it into the US as well as providing jobs for Americans, I am not so excited with the fact that my phone is barely usable. The old 4S that I did not update is faster than my 6S.

To say that this practice of slowing down older product is reprehensible, does not begin to cover it.

I was seriously thinking about looking at an Android-based smartphone when I received an Apple watch for Christmas. Great Timing!

Now I have a watch that tells me when to stand and breath but works very slowly as far as my phone is concerned.

My first iPad worked just fine until I was going to give it to an older gentlemen to watch Netflix on or read Kindle stuff.  I reset it and managed to brick it as they don’t have any software that works with that OS, and they don’t have the version of OS for that iPad available.  Resetting it from a usable tablet to original killed it.

I don’t know why they cannot make the server smart enough to detect which product you have and offer you an IOS or apps that will work on that product?  Oh, wait I do to know.  They want you to buy more hardware!

I met Steve years ago while supporting Next Step Computers.  I wonder how he would feel about what is happening today.

I would imagine he would be ok with it.  Like the Schick razor they want to sell you new blades, or in this case more product into perpetuity.

I would think that consumer watchdog groups would be all over this nonsense. A thousand dollars for a phone is over the top, one should get more than a year out of it.

This Pc that I am writing from today, I built seven years ago.  When I designed it, I put in components that were capable of playing the most aggressive video game of the day.  Why?  Here we are seven years later with the latest version of Windows 10, and it is still plenty fast.

An important note to keep in mind.  Hardware is measured in MTBF which means Mean Time Between Failure.  Hard drives die!  Fans Die!  Power supplies Die!  Moral of this story is to keep your files backed up.  If your data are only on your PC, you are living dangerously.

By files I mean data.  Document and pictures, email PST files, excel documents and so forth.

Whether it is an apple update or windows update keep in mind that I have seen Microsoft updates brick computers.

As far as Apple is concerned, I am in hopes that they will correct their error and think twice about that kind of activity in the future.  To screw up their brand in such a cheap way is beneath them in so many ways.  If you want people to purchase, the latest greatest, make it stand head and shoulders above the rest. You might also work on the price!

“What is one to do, shoot someone for $200?”

“What is one to do, shoot someone for $200?”

A recent post on a neighborhood blog elicited this response from me.  The man had some tools taken from his truck in his driveway and was upset.  He asked the question, what is one to do, shoot someone for taking my tools?

Here is my response to him and I think germane enough to share with you, good folks.

You (he) asks a good question.  “What am I to do, shoot someone for $200?”

Firstly, shooting someone for any reason will affect your life forever.  My litmus test is “Am I genuinely afraid for my life, or those lives of my family?”

If I am genuinely afraid, then the rest of this is a mute point.  Carried by six, judged by twelve, simple math really.

The opioid epidemic is probably responsible for the increase in small crimes like this, as fewer and fewer doctors are now prescribing these types of “legal” drugs   Legal or not, people are addicted to them and addictions will cause some to sell their mother into slavery for them.  If they cannot get them legally, they will get them on the street.

That in and of itself might solve some of the addiction issues, as what they get on the street might very well end their suffering, permanently.  Not my wish or desire, just simple facts. Truth told they know the risk too and will do it anyway.  That should tell you something about their state of mind, and the risk they will take for a few tools from your truck.

Balancing petty crimes against lethal force is a tough call.  So what is one to do?

In this day and age, we have many tools at our disposal.

Alarm your vehicle.  Mine is set to lock and arm after 45 seconds, should a family member, or I forget.

“Viper Alarm from Car Toys.”

Keep your valuables out of sight.

Brand your tools or other valuables so that a pawn shop will not be interested in them.

Ring.com  makes some not too expensive devices like the floodlight cam and the doorbell.

Both are easy installs for the average homeowner.

That video goes up to the cloud and stays there for some time. In case your home is vandalized the evidence is not where the criminal can get to it.

  • You said you heard them, Dial 911
  • Turn on lights, so they know that you heard them.
  • With the Ring floodlight cam, there is a siren that you can set off.  Noises are not what they want.
  • Open your window and set off an air horn if nothing else.  Yell at them telling them the cops are on the way!  I would not use Uncle Joe’s advice about touching off your shotgun in the air.  Noise is the right idea, just not shotguns.

I would imagine that smash and grab is their ideal way to work so sound and lights will alert your neighbors as well.  Usually, they work in pairs. Getting a plate for the cops is a very good idea. Any information is valuable.  Many have cameras set up to watch the streets and alleys.  Talk to your neighbors and see if they captured anything.

If you were to go out there with your shotgun or another deadly force weapon you might very well be surprised to find that you are now in harm’s way as they had a partner.  If on the other hand, you were to injure them or kill them, some subhuman life form of a lawyer would find any family members that they had and represent them on a contingency basis to sue you civilly.   Pictures of the dead or injured person from his or her days in church, scouts, the soccer field as a 12-year-old, or as a family member and good dad or mom would adorn the courtroom.  They would paint this person as the ideal person having them appear the saint, and you the angry old curmudgeon without any heart, hell-bent on killing people with your mean old gun.  If the perp is or was a different race or gender than you, that too will factor into swaying the jury that you are now a racist or a sexist or both.

If you cannot afford a lawyer, they might very well get a judgment against you.  It is relatively simple to emotionally manipulate a jury.  This would then cost much more than a few hundred dollars in tools. As it is a civil case and not a criminal case, no free Lawyers for you.

If you can afford one and you had best be able to, it will cost you no less than $5K on a no bill.  The process will go on for months, and it will consume you.

“What is one to do?” You asked

Good luck, I hope that you or our neighbors find some of this information helpful….

Full disclosure, I have no vested interest in any of the products or companies mentioned. I also do not believe that all lawyers are sub-human life forms. 🙂

Ready, Fire …Aim

Ready, Fire …Aim

After the recent storms, one might have guessed that my phone has been busy.  Firstly let me say that Disaster Recovery by its very title is a bit of a misnomer.  While I have some abilities to recover lost data using some forensic skills developed over decades of twiddling bits, that is not really disaster recovery.

Disaster Recovery and business continuity are about planning for an event which may or may not happen.  The “plan” assumes that your business systems will be affected negatively and puts forth a tested strategy to recover from the said event.

With the recent devastation by hurricanes and earthquakes, one would think that those businesses not affected would be learning from those that were.  If you search my blogs on this site, you will see that I have laid out

Do not ask him or her, are we covered just in case, ask them specific questions laid out in this blog here.

Yes is not a satisfactory answer, demand the details and the proof.  I don’t care how much of a friend he or she is, demand the evidence.  The devil is in the details, and the last thing you want is a bunch of excuses.

I am learning from phone calls that too many have been assured that they are covered, and that is very possibly why today they are looking for ways to recover data from destroyed equipment.

Disaster recovery is not some dark magic spell cast under the voodoo magic of bits and bytes in the wiring closet or back part of the computer room.  The bottom line is to test it, whatever your people come up with, check it.  Keep checking it until you can recover your business with outside contractors and hardware with data and documents prepared by your staff.  There is to be no input from you or your staff during the test.  The hurricane, earthquake, fire, attack from zombies or employee error took you and them away from the scene. The plan provided must work!

This is why we who do this insist that companies use “best practice” standards in the industry when creating your individual networks and systems.

One such company has a senior IT staff littered with programmers.  These people think they know more than Microsoft.  Using kludges from Unix, Linux and other programming wizardry to subvert some of the basic tenants of networking, they have made their network so unique that it will depend on them to be there to recover.

If it is not broken, don’t fix it!

Writing programs that workaround things like DNS is just crazy stuff and now it is dependent on the network never changing, at all.

If your data is successfully mirrored offsite, an excellent team of engineers might get you going in weeks, not days if you have failed to follow best practices.  While your data might eventually be usable, you and your company will be on the sidelines as most businesses do not recover from such a catastrophe.

Folks I have been at this since 1982, I have learned a thing or two in those years.  Ask your team the questions or be prepared for unpleasant surprises should you ever face a business stopping event.

Got to go and explain once again what disaster recovery is and is not.

Open letter to Bill O’Reilly @oreillyfactor @Bill_O_Reilly on #Harambe, did Magilla (Harambe) have to die?

bill-oreilly-leaves-country.jpg

The other night on the O’Reilly show, Bill called those of us who question the shooting of this animal  (Crazy.)

VID-Harambe-a-male-silverback-gorilla-at-Cincinnati-Zoo.jpg

Firstly, I called Harambe, Magilla for a reason.  There are a number of us Baby Boomers, who might think of this creature with fondness. Years ago there was a cartoon about a lovable gorilla named Magilla. Magilla would constantly cause his owner, Mr. Peabody angst.  We, in fact, have this as our “context” of what and who this creature was which might cause us to become mawkish over this creature.

4792565_l2.jpg

We might also remember with fondness the work of Dian Fossey or Jane Goodall. We might be aware of the work of Francine or “Penny” Patterson and her work with KOKO who one could have a conversation with through signing, using its own language of GSL (Gorilla sign language.)

koko_and_penny.jpg

Then Bill we see small snippets on the news of an animal that appears to be helping the child up after a terrific fall, and find out that Harambe was shot for looking out for the child.

The problem Bill; we did not appreciate the vulgarian nature of the creature as we did not see the video of the child dragged through the water by its leg until we watched your show.

Once again journalism at its finest looks to incite public outcry, I suspect for ratings by biasing the story.

I would submit to you Bill; it is not us who are crazy.  It is we the public that are deceived under the guise of reporting a story. In truth, they appear to be practicing “Yellow Journalism.”

cropped-yellow-journalism.jpg

In this, I agree with Trump; some media are sleaze. It would appear that they might do anything for ratings without regard for the end result.

By the way Mr. Trump, you might want to get some thicker skin for the job you are applying for.

Just my two Cents…

#Trump and things that go bump in the night. @RealDonaldTrump @medvedshow @hughhewitt @DennisPrager @glennbeck @theblaze

One of the simplest occupations in the world must be “radio talk show host.”

I often have the radio on when I am working at things that require less intellect and more mechanical aptitude.  The Trump phenomenon is nothing more than ratings for every talking head to pontificate about.

Not shocking are the talking heads on liberal leaning sites who extol the virtues of Hillary Clinton, and how wonderful she is.  I wish I were making that up….  I swear Rachel Maddow is more in love with Hillary than Bill.

Trump on the other hand is no media darling.  There is not one outlet that has anything good to say about him.  Today I heard one talking head repeating things that some supposed butler that Trump had once said.  This talking head was rather vitriolic with his callers regarding Trump.  As if, his opinion trumps theirs (pun intended).  Oh wait he has a radio show so his must be more germane, more salient more accurate than his stupid listeners do.

How smug they must feel spewing out their “intelligence,” casting perls to the swine.

How is the view from your ivory tower boys?  Are you going to toss down some cake to the peons, the little people whose only voice is their vote!

If you people do not think you are doing this, I challenge you to listen to yourselves.

Let me ask the talking heads this, have you read Trumps books? Does it mean nothing to you that this man took $1 million and turned it into $10 Billion while our president has spent more money in 7 years, than all of the presidents that came before him combined have?

I firmly believe that Trump is the ultimate tactician. I think what he does and what he says is more deliberate than one might think.  His 2 billion in free airtime is either genius, or a rather stupid media hoping that it will bring ratings.

Do you think we can really afford four more years of Obama via Hillary? That is what it will be if she is elected and, you people are giving them ample ammunition.

Cruz is a politician and a Lawyer and comes off as Smarmy. Sorry Ted, that is how you come off.  If nobody has the guts to tell you the truth, I do.

Rubio did as well… I do think that his exit speech was praiseworthy, and I really appreciated the HairforceOne line.  Rubio has a sense of humor. I look for him to reappear one day, much wiser and more experienced.

Kasich is a politician and says what he thinks will resonate.

Bernie is a lovable old white person, ex hippy who has limited math skills, and not much of a grasp on reality.  If I were not so well informed; I might vote for the man…  He talks a good story and he makes you feel good.

Hillary is an oxymoron, an enigma…she is in fact the supreme example of “establishment.” Hillary is self-serving and at her advanced age, one has to wonder “why?”  Never mind the fact that she should be wearing an orange jumpsuit, and sitting behind bars; why Hillary?  Why spend your last years here on this earth in a job that sucks the life out of you? I am reminded of the Dark Crystal, with the big scary bird like things that sucked the life out of the Gelflings. The office of President is the granddaddy of life sucking entities.  Is power that much of an aphrodisiac?

Trump perhaps is the biggest enigma of them all. Here is a person who by his own words turned $one million into $ten billion.  Here is a person who has by his own words “ an easy life.”

I do think that he might have an issue with prevarication. It would appear that exaggerating the story for entertainment sake, is part of the fabric of Donald Trump.

As politicians go however; he should fit right in as I have yet to see one that does not have an issue with the truth.  They will tell you what you want to hear for your vote, and then forget about you.

All of the stump speeches will have some story with an emotional hook, they will be about as sincere as you are when you tell the police officer that just gave you a ticket to, have a nice day.

There will be much more social engineering between now and November.  As it always seems to be, at the end of the day, Americans will have to hold their noses and vote for the lesser of two evils.

The “conservative” talk show hosts will have much more fodder to stir up the folks over, and we will go on. MSNBC and to a lesser extent CNN will be bringing you stories nightly on one of two things.  They will be either How great Hillary is, or how lame and incompetent the “republican” person is.  That is what they do.  Fox on the other hand is the Ying to their Yang.  I am beginning to see that Fox too has an agenda that appears self-serving.

The issues however, will probably not be addressed, by any administration.

Nobody is going to round up 12 million illegal aliens.

Someone might build a wall but Mexico will not likely pay for it.

More companies will leave the United States, leaving fewer and fewer jobs for the people here.

All of the candidates are painting the issues with broad-brush strokes hoping that the American people do not care enough to examine the facts of what they are saying. If Jessie Waters is correct, many are clueless and simply going with the wind.

Ted says he will abolish the IRS… Then what Ted?  Who is going to collect the Taxes?   Do you know how many people you will be putting out of work?

He is going to tear to shreds the Iran deal… Really…maybe you should read it first.. Maybe you can tear it up all you want but in the end, their copy will be just as binding as the pile of scraps on the oval office floor.

Ted is going to repeal Obama Care… Do you think you can just stop a speeding train that is heading downhill with sheer will?

They are great sound bites Ted… Some of us have a brain.

Kasich has said nothing that I can remember that he will do.  He does lead one to believe that when god was creating the earth, he was there telling him how to do it.

Trump has tangible assets that he has built.

Does he have skeletons in his closet, probably?

Is he a worse candidate than anyone on the democratic side?  No…

Immigration

I do think that they all have it wrong.  If someone were to think outside the box, they would build a bridge to Mexico.  My take on this is simple… Help them fix whatever is wrong in their country so they can compete effectively in “free trade.”  We don’t have Canadians rushing our borders by the tens of thousands; why?  Canada embraces laws and capitalism, and even though they are more socialistic than we are, they still have an economy that works for them.

There must be a way to help Mexico get to a state that Americans want to go there or at the very least the Mexicans want to stay there. We have 12 million illegal aliens because their country needs help.  Building a big beautiful wall with a big beautiful door is not really the answer now, is it?

Do you realize how far 10 Billion dollars would go to assist the Mexican people to gain control of their country, making it a nice place to live, work and visit!

Mr. Trump, How…how are you going to Make America Great Again?  How are you going to “bring the jobs back? Some details rather than platitudes would really be nice. That is what I think are some of your largest detractors and critics. The devil is in the details and I for one would like some.

Not my Monkeys, not my Circus but maybe it is time to speak up.

Snopes The Ultimate “what?”

Snopes The Ultimate “what?”

Snopes The Ultimate “what?”

While quoting Snopes as the ultimate truth seekers, I question everything that I read. This goes for them as well.

The fact that the site was created and is run by two liberal leaning folks in California makes it suspect as to its amount of bias…

Take the following story as an example.

assault1.jpg

Marine Assaulted at McDonald’s by Black Lives Matter Activists?

Marine veteran Christopher Marquez was involved in an altercation at a McDonald’s, but police said the teens were likely not Black Lives Matter activists.  “From Snopes”

If you read the actual report, the three black teens were asking him if “black lives matter?”

The taunting continued until he had enough and got up to leave.  Once outside, he was attacked by the three, knocked out and robbed.

Define activist?

While these three also meet the definition of criminal, thug, low life and few other adjectives I could come up with, they also meet the definition of activist.  Since they are black and espoused the line several times…”do black lives matter.” I am at a loss why the police would think otherwise.

“Maybe this is workplace violence too.”

44862801001_4762599979001_video-still-for-video-4762543668001.jpg

Does BLM issue membership cards?

My point to this is simply that you must not believe everything that you read on the internet, even if it comes from Snopes!

A few thoughts on this election 2016 @RealDonaldTrump

A few thoughts on this election 2016 @RealDonaldTrump

Part of the election process is that people want to “like” whom they vote for.

When I say to “like this person,” they must have many of the characteristics that they themselves have.

That is one of the reasons that Obama won both times is that he is likeable. You will notice in the polls that one of the categories is “likability.”

On that trait alone, Bernie Sanders should win, as he is probably one of the most likeable candidates around.

maxresdefault (3).jpg

He is an old hippie who espouses something just this side of communism, which resonates with the millennials. They feel that have been disenfranchised by corporate America because they have paid the big bucks for student loans and companies are not jumping through the hoops to court them with 6 figure salaries and the corner office!

Cap-Socialism.jpg

Companies are leaving the country because of people like Bernie but that is another story!

If Bernie were elected his plans would cost another $20 Trillion dollars in just 4 years.  I do not think that any member of congress is that braindead to sign off on it.

trilli-e1415243124169.jpg
This is 1 Trillion Dollars.

Firstly, those who paid the big bucks for college, get over yourselves.  You start in the mail-room or some other entry-level position and work your way up.

Rise-of-the-millennials.jpg
Immigration should really be on your top ten list to worry about.  There are more of you and fewer jobs.

If you want to make good money from the get go, be a plumber or AC repair-person or yes, even a mechanic.  You will never get rich, but you will never lack for work. Your white collar counter parts will spend more time unemployed than you.

Character is the defining trait that you should be looking for when you vote.

  • What has the person done?
  • What is their record of accomplishment?
  • Who owns them?

Which group of special interests has given them millions of dollars to hire all of these specialized marketing and PR firms to sway a certain group of voters by telling them exactly what they want to hear?

I seriously wonder if she can even tell the truth.

I do not care personally if I like them or not, I want someone who will do the right thing and make the tough decisions.  I want a candidate that will keep the country safe and defend the constitution!

You have no doubt heard it said repeatedly, it is always between a lesser of two evils.

Let me pose this question to you.

What has to be going on in someone’s mind for him or her to think that they are good enough to be the President of the United States?  How much EGO and Narcissism, not to mention delusions of grandeur, does it take to run for president?

In House of Cards, Frank is a Megalomaniac!  Great Actor!

They all share that trait; the only one that will most probably not change is Trump.  Moving into the White House would actually be a downgrade for him. Is that humility?

Love her as well… Great Actress!

Since Trump is funding his own campaign you pretty much have an idea of who and what he is, the rest are total unknowns, as you have no idea who owns them.

Is he a bully, I think he can be.  Will he keep his word? I think so. Will his family keep him grounded?  I hope so.

They call him the “unpolished” Politician.  Good!

Since all of the good old boys and even the other billionaires are fighting Trump, it seems like an easy decision to me.

Promoting and funding political unrest…why?

Just think … all of the billionaires that currently buy politicians will lose their control! The American People might actually get their government back!  Special interests might have to take a back seat until someone of lesser intestinal fortitude, wins the office.

For the record I don’t think that Trump is an “Evil,” I think he is a necessity.  I think that he has the Swagger to tell those who try to stick it to us, to go F#$K off!

Just my thoughts!
