Insider says Obama administration ‘sent a message’ to black Democratic lawmakers that they should skip Netanyahu speech to Congress, as Biden says he’ll be a no-show

  • Congressional Black Caucus chairman G.K. Butterfield and civil rights icon John Lewis, both federal lawmakers, will bail on the Israeli PM’s speech
  • They insist there’s no organized boycott but a White House staffer says the administration ‘sent a message to some at the CBC that they should suddenly be very upset about the speech’
  • Lewis said House Speaker John Boehner’s invitation to Netanyahu was ‘an affront to the president,’ but his spokeswoman sidestepped questions
  • Butterfield said the speaker overstepped his authority and ‘buck(ed) long standing diplomatic protocol’
  • The CBC’s spokeswoman would only say she was ‘unaware’ of boycott requests coming from the White House
  • Vice President Joe Biden will definitely be out of the country on March 3 and has no plans to stay in Washington for Netanyahu’s historic address

The final numbers are not yet in, but it seems clear that the White House-orchestrated campaign to boycott Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to Congress is collapsing.

Despite two weeks of intense anti-Netanyahu leaks, insults, and pressure, the White House has so far succeeded in persuading only a handful of Democratic members of Congress to stay away from the speech.

A grand total of two Senators and twelve Representatives have publicly announced that they are boycotting Israel’s prime minister. Assuming that those figures change only marginally in the days ahead, it will mean that 98% of the Senate and 95% of the House of Representatives will be in attendance.

Even the most vocal critics of Prime Minister Netanyahu, the members of the Congressional Black Caucus, are not united against the Israeli leader. Emerging from a meeting with President Obama last week, Caucus chairman Rep. G.K. Butterfield told reporters, that the subject of Netanyahu’s speech “didn’t come up” during their 90-minute meeting with the president. But he then proceeded to chastise Israel’s prime minister for supposedly being “disrespectful” to the president, and Congressman Hank Johnson said it was “about President Barack Obama being a black man disrespected by a foreign leader.”

But not all the African-American congress members joined the anti-Netanyahu chorus. U.S. Senator Cory Booker (D-New Jersey), who is the only senator in the Congressional Black Caucus, refused to toe the line. The Politico reports that when his colleagues began lambasting Prime Minister Netanyahu, reporters asked Booker where he stood, and he pointedly dissented, saying “I’ve been asked that a number of times–I’m not commenting.”

Knowing of Senator Booker’s longtime support for Israel and close relationship with many American Jewish leaders, we find it difficult that he will go along with an insulting and disrespectful boycott of Israel’s prime minister.

Another major crack in the anti-Netanyahu boycott effort appeared this weekend in the form of a message from Elie Wiesel in a full page advertisement in the New York Times and Washington Post, sponsored by “This World: The Values Network.”

The Nobel Peace Prize Laureate has always been something of a moral compass for the Jewish people–certainly far more than the two or three Jewish organizational leaders who have been quoted as opposing Netanyahu’s visit. We all remember Wiesel bravely confronting President Reagan over his visit to the Bitburg cemetery, not to mention his speaking out on so many other important issues over the years. So Wiesel’s words in the Times and Post ads carry particular weight.

Wiesel announced that he will personally attend Netanyahu’s speech. He appealed to President Obama and Vice President Biden to “put aside the politics” and hear what Israel’s prime minister has to say. He pointed out that Netanyahu will speak to Congress the day before Purim–the day when, in ancient times, “a wicked man in Persia named Haman” sought to destroy the Jews…”Now Iran, modern Persia, has produced a new enemy,” Wiesel wrote. “The Ayatollah Khomeini has been as clear as his predecessor in declaring his goal: ‘the annihilation and destruction’ of Israel. He is bent on acquiring the weapons needed to make good on the deadly promise.”

Finally, it’s worth mentioning another crack that appeared in the boycott effort this week. The pro-Palestinian lobbying group J Street, which has been the engine driving the boycott movement, has been circulating a poll claiming that 84% of American Jews support President Obama’s position on Iran.

But now the fraudulent methods used to elicit that 84% number have been exposed. It turns out that the respondents were not asked about the actual terms that Obama is negotiating with Iran. They were asked whether they would support an imaginary agreement under which Iran would completely and permanently give up its capability to produce nuclear weapons. Unfortunately, that is not at all what President Obama is insisting upon, according to numerous news reports.

A genuinely objective poll, which asked American Jews whether they want the U.S. to insist that Iran be permanently prevented from having the ability to manufacture nuclear weapons, would surely find the vast majority of Jews in favor.

When Prime Minister Netanyahu appears next month before Congress, with the overwhelming majority of Congress members from both parties in attendance, he will explain the truth about the Iranian threat and the danger of the U.S. agreeing to weak and unenforceable terms.

And that, of course, is what the Obama Administration, J Street, and the other Netanyahu-bashers most wish to prevent.

The audience for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to Congress on March 3 is shaping up to be largely Republican — and almost completely white.

Many members of the Congressional Black Caucus say they’re planning to skip the speech, calling it a slight to President Barack Obama that they can’t and won’t support.

Story Continued Below

Israeli officials have been taken by surprise by the CBC backlash, kicked off by Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.), a civil rights leader who said last week he won’t attend, quickly followed by Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-S.C.) and others. As a result, they’re working to set up a meeting for CBC members with Ambassador Ron Dermer — or even Netanyahu himself when he’s in Washington.

“To me, it is somewhat of an insult to the president of the United States,” said Rep. Greg Meeks (D-N.Y.), leaving the White House on Tuesday after a long meeting with Obama and Vice President Joe Biden, who also will miss the speech. “Barack Obama is my president. He’s the nation’s president, and it is clear, therefore, that I’m not going to be there, as a result of that, not as a result of the good people of Israel.”

Netanyahu’s speech to Congress, scheduled just two weeks before Israeli national elections, is aimed at stopping a deal with Iran over its nuclear weapons program — a diplomatic opening Obama administration officials believe could reintegrate Iran into the international community and enhance Israel’s security. Netanyahu, however, feels the United States and its international partners are being naive about Iran’s true intent.

“I’m determined to speak before Congress to stop Iran,” Netanyahu tweeted on Tuesday.

Democrats across Capitol Hill have been increasingly vocal about their opposition to the speech, criticizing the prime minister and House Speaker John Boehner for making them choose between their support for their president and support for Israel. Announcements that Democrats plan to sit out the speech have trickled in for days.

But the CBC reaction has been particularly potent, striking at the political alliance between Jews and African-Americans that dates to the civil rights movement but has grown more fraught over the years.

Often Obama’s strongest defenders against political attacks, black members say they’re outraged that a foreign leader would try to intervene in the U.S. political process.

“It’s not just about disrespect for the president, it’s disrespect for the American people and our system of government for a foreign leader to insert himself into a issue that our policymakers are grappling with,” said Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.). “It’s not simply about President Obama being a black man disrespected by a foreign leader. It’s deeper than that.”

CBC chairman Rep. G.K. Butterfield (D-N.C.) told reporters that the speech didn’t come up as a topic in the 90 minutes they spent with Obama in the Cabinet Room. But he, like Meeks, Johnson and many of his members, is not planning to go to Netanyahu’s speech.

Butterfield said the black caucus is in “conversation” with Israeli officials to set up a meeting with either Netanyahu or the ambassador, who has met with several black members of Congress as part of his efforts to calm the furor.

“CBC members are willing certainty to meet with any representative of Israel. We understand Israel’s plight, and we support the state of Israel,” Butterfield said.

The CBC leader said Boehner is as much or more responsible for the slight as is the Israeli leader.

“I don’t hold Netanyahu responsible,” Butterfield said. “I hold Speaker Boehner responsible, but I would hope that Mr. Netanyahu would not want to get involved. I personally think it is disrespectful.”

That was a word many members used: “It is very disrespectful to this president, and what concerns me more is that I think it’s a pattern that is starting to develop from this speaker that we’re getting more and more disrespectful of the office of the presidency,” said Rep. Cedric Richmond (D-La.). “I think it’s silly and petty.”

Asked whether CBC members see the speech as an insult, Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-Fla.) said, “I think they kind of think it is.”

Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), the CBC’s only member in the upper chamber, hasn’t ruled out attending, but he won’t commit to going either.

“I’ve been asked that a number of times — I’m not commenting,” he said before slipping out the White House gates and onto a waiting bus to take him back to the Capitol.

The spokesman for the Israeli Embassy had no comment about the breakdown with the CBC over the speech. But a spokesman for Boehner defended the speaker’s decision to invite the Israeli leader: “Prime Minister Netanyahu’s upcoming visit isn’t about Speaker Boehner, and it’s not about President Obama,” spokesman Cory Fritz said. “At this critical moment it’s important that the American people hear from Israel about the grave threats posed by Iran and Islamic radicalism.”

Though many CBC members are boycotting, for now they’ve decided not to make it an official caucus position.

“There are a number of members who aren’t going to attend, but they don’t want to make it sound like a group decision,” said Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.).

CBC members Reps. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) and Donna Edwards (D-Md.) have also announced they’re skipping the speech. Fellow CBC member Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) co-signed a letter Tuesday to Boehner with Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.), calling for the speech to be postponed.

“The timing of this invitation and lack of coordination with the White House indicate that this is not an ordinary diplomatic visit,” they wrote. “When the Israeli prime minister visits us outside the specter of partisan politics, we will be delighted and honored to greet him or her on the floor of the House.”

The idea of meeting with Dermer or Netanyahu separately doesn’t seem to be catching on with CBC members, either. Noting that Dermer once worked for Republican pollster Frank Luntz, Johnson called the ambassador a “longtime, right-wing political hack” and said he is uninterested in meeting with either him or Netanyahu.

“I don’t think I would be willing to come to such a meeting,” Johnson said. “Not at that time, and under this condition, no.”

From these stories and many others, I get the idea that there would be a political debate on where to go to lunch, much less doing the right thing for one of our best allies. Can you guys agree on anything?

It would seem that one of the things that these law makers agree on is race.

As an American I am ashamed of you who belittle an event like this because you were either told by the white house to do it, or you have taken it upon yourself to show your ass instead of your duty to those that elected you.  I cannot help but wonder why the Republicans enjoyed such overwhelming support by the American voter this last time around.

You folks are childish in your actions and are woefully out of touch with us, the people who vote.  We the people that pay your ridiculous salaries and we, the folks that stand by and watch while you rape the American people by way of creating laws that don’t apply to you, or laws that exclude the American people.

We the people want you to be there for our friend in Israel.  Making deals with terrorist is stupid and even the school kids know this, what the hell are you thinking?  Get a damned back bone and do what is right for the American people and stop your childish behavior, it is absolutely offensive and disgusting.

White privilege…

1f0447b2e4eecfd96a5ac78ad943cca3This is obnoxious hate speech, and here is why!

While working, I often listen to talk radio.  Most of the stuff you hear is provocative, so you will listen past the commercials.

maxresdefault (1)

Some college professor made the statement that white men are all privileged and she would not even call on them in class, as they did not disserve her attention. Wow!  What a thing to say much less think!

Yes, I am white.

My great grandfather was a German immigrant and my great grandmother was from Italy.  My grandmother who passed in her 40’s was from New York and her parents were from London.  Her line traces back to Winston Churchill in some circuitous route, while my fathers parents came across from the old country much earlier.

06n25churchill-382089

When I was a young person, I came up with the idea of mowing yards for spending money, as my parents were certainly not wealthy.  Dad was a mechanic for the airline who during its death throws absconded with the retirement money of its employees, which became “golden parachutes” for the elites.

747-braniff-place

I was not allowed to use the “family” lawn mower for this task so the first thing I had to do is come up with a lawn mower of my own.  Garage sales provided me with broken down equipment that I learned to repair and keep going while traversing the neighborhoods looking for lawns that needed upkeep.  $2 for the front and $2 for the back was the average fare.

By the end of the first summer, I had acquired 3 lawn mowers, an edger and purchased several rakes, brooms and other implements to take care of my customers.

The following summer allowed me to start a savings account as well as allow for popcorn money for the occasional movie.

By my senior year of high school, I was able to purchase my first car, which opened up different types of occupations that did not require as much sweat.

My first real confrontation with my white privilege status was when I went to try and work for Sears.  I had taught myself electronics at a very early age and had found employment at the local TV repair shop.  After working there, I could not stomach how they took advantage of people so I left to find something else.

Sears used to have a really good name and the service center was not too far from my home.  I went through the interview and was given the tour of the service area.  There in the back were several technicians, one white and the rest black.  This mattered not to me as I see people as people and judge by character.  If you are nice to me, I will be nice to you, end of story.

I had to prove my ability to repair sets, which I did rather handily.  While I was wrapping up the manager went to talk with his boss on my behalf.  He brought me out of the back into a private area and told me “he would love to have me but, his boss had just told him that he had to hire people that were non-white.”

This was my first brush with my “white privilege!”

This left a bad taste in my mouth.  I stopped spending money with Sears, as I believe one should be hired for their ability to perform, and not their skin color.

I went to work for another independent and found that they too screw their customers selling them things that they do not need.  I found that practice vile and gave my two weeks.

After finding a small place with rent that I could afford I opened up my own shop and for years, repaired TV’s for many folks.

Owning your own business is tough as one tends to work eighteen hours a day, at least.

There was a transition happening in the industry which brought the price of televisions down.  The transition was directly related to offshore workers building them.  When Zenith left American plants and went over seas; that was really the death knoll for television repair.  Zenith and Curtis Mathes were the holdouts. When they too went out of the USA, it was over.

Curtis Mathes 68c

Until that date the television was not only an apparatus, it was also a piece of furniture.  That too changed as plastic housings replaced wood and TV carts replaced cabinetry.

GE001_zpsec0d0f95

Customers would call for service or bring their set in and while I had it, they would be out shopping for something newer.  In many cases when I would call with the estimate, they would have already purchased something newer and would abandon the set.  The law back then was you could not sell their property.  I had to send registered letters and after 90 days, I could junk it.

fl_tv_junk03

I would place them into a storage unit until I had a 12 X 30-storage unit full to the door with televisions that I could do nothing with, other than junk them.

I closed the shop and went to work in the business machine industry for sometime and eventually through my hobby got into computers.  By 1982, I was well ensconced in the data processing field and by the early 90’s was managing IS departments.

osborneexecutive

My hiring practices were such that if you could do the job and had the appropriate attitude I would hire you.  I was admonished by HR to look at people of color first, and consider them over their white counterpart.  I hired many of all races but, I did my best to be color-blind, as I do not think that your skin color should garner you any favoritism, or should hold you back!

Just as your skin color should not be a factor in being hired it should not be a factor in firing you, but it is.  One fellow that I hired developed a horrible attitude as the years progressed.  This man would go out of his way to anger me, which he admitted to at his departure dinner from the company.  He was doing his best to try to get me to call him something other than his name, so he could sue the company.

racial-discrimination

He found other employment and was leaving to go manage some group somewhere.  At his going away dinner he ask me with the whole department there, “how do you hold your temper?”  I looked at him blankly, whatever do you mean?  “I have been trying to piss you off for months and never once did you even loose your smile!”  The folks at the tables jaws dropped, as he admitted his plan and was now genuinely curious how I maintained my countenance.

Had I been a racist, I am guessing that he might have been successful.  I am interested in your character, not your color; and certainly not your heritage.

Today I work with many different companies as well as different government agencies.  They too still have to this date programs in place that business of minority status “must be considered first” before someone of “non-minority status, or white privilege!”

My customers that I get today have tried those methods, and have been disappointed time after time and finally call me.   Once I get a customer, they see the difference for themselves and I do not have to solicit them after that.  When they need my services, they call.

It is not my skin color, which earns me business; it is my character!  I do what I say that I will do and I stand behind my work.  I treat folks as I want to be treated and I genuinely care.

Those who foment racism are themselves most likely the racist in the room.  Knowledge is key to being anything that you want to be.  Knowing who you are is a good first start.  Don’t believe the lies, most people of character are color blind.

To the uber liberal feminist white hating professor; you should get out more.   I fear for the country when people of this ilk are teaching, molding young minds and spewing out their hate and bigotry from unfounded diatribes!

I too have a dream; that we as a people will learn from history; that we will know from whence we came and endeavor to correct the mistakes of the small-minded bigots of the past.  It is easier to believe the lies than think outside the box, learn for yourself that people promote the lies because they are a comfortable place to hide or they promote an agenda, that is fallacious at best.

The simple facts are that there are a privileged class of folks.  Color does not enter into the algorithm however.  Adding color to the equation makes it play better and easier to sell, like the fictitious war on women.  Nice sound bite, but untrue!

-Best to you and those that you care about!

#Ferguson, #Race and Really?

After reading some post and other bloggers who are following the Ferguson debacle, I am convinced that they, “the rioters and looters and yes, Al Sharpton and the other race baiters have helped to set race relations back 60 years!

The world watched as young black people burned their own city down in protest for what most thinking people of any race or color would call an “overly fair” trial.

The press which helped to foment this hate described this person who was shot as damned near a boy scout! An innocent misunderstood child!  Then they described the cop as some sort of bigoted jack booted thug.

Setting the record straight, a few came forth and testified to the actual facts which the forensics in the case matched. The police officers testimony and the people that have some sort of moral compass and spine, had the same narrative and as much as they were pressed by the DOJ and others to come up with an indictment, they could not.

Now you have some who don’t like the way that it turned out and responded with violence and by the way, acted in a manner that is stereotypical of how some perceive all blacks!  You have not only destroyed your town, you have damaged your “people” if they claim you still.

Michal Brown, who the White House propped up, was a 290 pound thug that wrote rap lyrics including lyrics about rape, and killing cops.  This person was high as hell while committing a crime against a shop owner.  Not only did he steal merchandise, he roughed up the owner and threatened him.   In the video you can actually see him come back at the store owner after he had exited the building in much the same manner that he charged Officer Wilson at the end of his life.

Minutes later he is confronted by the police who now know that they have the probable suspect of the crime, right there.

To further stir the pot, the President of the United States clearly adds fuel to the fire by mentioning Ferguson during a talk at the UN for the whole damned world to now pay attention to, as well as sending the DOJ to oversee the investigation and if that is not enough, interject his buddy Al Sharpton and, send 4 white house officials to be present at this mans funeral!  Really!?

Facts

  • 18 year old thug steals cigars from local shop and roughs up owner. (on camera)
  • Someone from that store reports the theft.
  • Police, while in the area finishing up one call, run into the suspect and his partner.
  • Finds the two walking in the middle of the road blocking traffic.
  • Asked them to please move to the sidewalk.
  • Words were exchanged laced with explicative’s from Mr.Brown.
  • As officer goes to get out of his car; he is pushed back in, having his door slammed up against him.
  • Officer is then struck several times in the face and head by Mr. Brown
  • Officer gets gun out and tells him to back off, or he will shoot him.
  • A struggle takes place for the officer’s weapon.
  • After three attempts to get a shot off, a bullet finally leaves the weapon and strikes the thug in the hand.  DNA evidence of this is present inside the car, and on the officer’s uniform.
  • Mr. Brown backs off .
  • Officer Wilson calls for assistance, mentioning “shots fired.”
  • Officer Wilson gets out of his cruiser and orders Mr. Brown to freeze and to get onto the ground. “This is per his training!”  He has just shot a guy “albeit in his hand” and now among other things he has to get medical attention for him, after he gets him under control.
  • Instead, Mr. Brown charges the officer who fires a half dozen shots striking Mr. Brown a few times in the torso.
  • Mr. Brown momentarily stops and the officer stops firing, once again ordering him to get onto the ground. (At this point Mr. Brown could have lived through this.)
  • Mr. Brown instead goes into a football player like position, once again charging at Officer Wilson.
  • Officer Wilson with no options left, fires the fatal shot that kills Mr. Brown.

The population of Ferguson is divided by those that do and do not have a moral compass.  Instead of a normal investigation by the local police, they decide that this case should proceed directly to a Grand Jury.  I am certain that pressure from Washington had something to do with this decision.

It is well known that a grand jury can indict a ham sandwich, if there is a ghost of a chance that this officer acted inappropriately; this is the best shot of gaining an indictment.

All of the evidence, every scrap is presented to the jurors.

At Officer Wilson’s own peril, he willingly testifies in front of the grand jury for four hours without the benefit of his attorney being present.  The unusual part of this proceeding is this, and the attorney for the other side is complaining about this being unusual!  This action by Officer Wilson could have sunk him and the odds are good that it would have, had this case not been so air tight, and by the book.

After 40 days of deliberation the grand jury returned a “no bill.”  There was not enough evidence against the officer to get the slightest conviction.

On the night of the announcement, Mr. Brown’s step father is on video inciting the crowd to, “Burn this bitch down!”

For some unknown reason the National Guard was nowhere to be found.  Many businesses’ were looted and indeed burned to the ground.  Many cars were also set ablaze. Over 300 shots were fired by unknown rioters.

Remarkably, no one was killed in all the mayhem.

All of this took place under a sign strung across the street that said “Season Greetings.”

On the next night, another police car was destroyed before police could arrive at the scene.

Protest broke out in multiple cities and towns across the country.

Some blacks are on record calling for a, “race war!”

Protesters pulled a stunt from dumb and dumber, and laid down on I35 in Dallas, blocking traffic for over two hours.

There were other arrests in other cities for violence of one kind or another.

There is little doubt that there are professional agitators in this group as few people in the crowd would want to burn their own city down.  The small businesses will most probably not return to that town, only serving to further impoverish it.

They are indeed showing the world how intolerant and I might add ignorant, that they are.  We are a country of laws, not mob rule!

That person calling for a race war would be surprised if her call to arms was met with the same type of violence that this bunch of folks enacted on innocent citizens terrorizing and entire community.

There are people in this country that would go toe to toe with them, so they should really be careful what they ask for.  There are some who are really sick of this, and it might surprise them to know that they are the same color as them.  They should really fall back and look outside the forest as they are flying blind.  The preponderance of evidence shows that Wilson was well within his rights and duties to do as he did.  The system worked and the cards were stacked against him.

Loss of life is a terrible thing.  This 18 year old that robbed that store could have turned his life around, but as it is, we will never know.  All we know of him really is from his social media page and his last actions in that store.

What can we learn from this to make this moment count?

The man in blue is hired by us, to protect and to serve.  If you don’t want to be a statistic, or accident, don’t give them any reason to “be afraid for their life.”

If you are pulled over at night, turn on your dome light and put your hands in clear view.

Make no quick moves, and do as you are told to do. That goes for anyone, of any race!

Body cameras are cheap and available and not only should all police have one on when they are carrying a gun but, I would argue that all of those who are CHS certified also wear such a device.  With this camera even Mr. Brown’s parents would have to conclude that he screwed up.  No one wants to believe that their kid messed up.  We as parents are in denial until all the chickens come home to roost. One can’t blame them for being in denial but one can most certainly blame them for causing millions of dollars of damage, and possible injury or death to innocent citizens.

These cameras are small enough that I wonder how this would play out for the ordinary citizen to wear such a device.  Would it compromise someone else’s privacy?   Google glass is such a device, when it gets more affordable what conversations will we be having about our privacy then?

It is a brave new world and we really must be careful how we introduce and use technology.

Witness testimony is seldom super accurate so a video of the altercation would have been concrete evidence of what happened; this whole mess could have been avoided.

All stores should have security cameras which actively stream video up to the cloud via some sort of cellular technology, battery backed up.

Professional agitators should be charged with conspiracy to commit crimes against the state.  Much like hiring a hit man, these folks should be held accountable.  Wearing a mask hiding your identity at a protest should not be allowed.  The law needs to be changed to forbid this type of activity.  People are much more polite and law abiding if they are not “anonymous.”

The Race baiters should be forced to come up with the money to not only re-build that town but, make up for the lost sales from those business’s.

The people who lied at the Grand Jury, should be charged with perjury and made to pay a fine, serve time, and should be made an example of.  You don’t create a story to serve some agenda.  I realize that I am asking the public to do the right thing and not take an example from this current administration that makes up any narrative that they want, to fit an agenda like “it was that video that caused the rioters in Benghazi!”

Mr. King is most probably spinning in his grave, and we need him now more than ever.  I know of no one that judges folks by their color or race.  You thugs in Ferguson have shown the world “THE WORLD” that perhaps it is ok to be prejudice against people of color, congratulations! Al, you fomented this hatred so now use your pulpit and fix it! The only thing I expect out of the white house is that somehow they will blame Bush!

This is the third racial incident that this president has weighed in on and the third one that has blown up in his face! One would think that he would learn to leave this type of thing to those that know how to deal with it, and not to foment hate and bigotry when we as a people have moved past it years ago.  If you want to cause and old wound to bleed, keep picking on it!

Hate is a poison that you take, expecting it to affect someone else.

Stop the hatred. Lead by example.  If you want a war between the races, keep on doing what you are doing and someone of equal intelligence will certainly oblige you.  If you want it to stop, then stop.  Nobody wants this.  The few that do can stay relegated to the past and burn their lives out in hate or, they can look outside of their little part of the world and see that man has moved on past this.  Are there pockets of racists’ bastards still in this world, you bet, they are the minority; and it is time to understand and embrace that.  Character is King, not race, and certainly not color. –Grow up!

Update

I saw an interview with Megan Kelly and Al Green

The argument was this: He maintains that the Grand Jury threw out testimony from some that they did not find credible and therefor it was an unfair verdict and the people of Ferguson did not get justice.  WOW!  This guy represents the 9th Congressional district of Texas and is so far out in “LEFT Field” that he has no clue what he says or how stupid he appeared to the millions of viewers who watch Fox and of course Mrs. Kelly!

I don’t know if they, FOX News went looking for someone that is this shortsighted to boost ratings or, if this guy approached them to get his 15 minutes of fame.

The grand jury had three different autopsy reports from three different forensic pathologist  and the CSI type of evidence to compare to the testimony of many different “eye witness accounts.”

Through the process the people were interviewed “interrogated” several times.  The testimony that consistently stayed the same, each and every time, was also the testimony that was consistent with the evidence from the pathologist.  That is how you tell the difference between the tares from the wheat Mr. Green!

His hands were not up and he was charging the officer.  The officer did nothing wrong and those that want to foment racial tension simply cant understand or don’t want to understand how this works.  The DOJ in all of his political BS with all of the strings that he pulled could not even make the case that the officer did the slightest thing wrong but yet, this guy “Mr Green,” who was not there, only hears what he wants to hear.

This guy voted for Obama Care, he is pro choice, and is pro gun control.  He is the perfect democrat!

This officers life is ruined for doing his job and not letting a thug kill him.  Had the thug managed to get his gun and kill him, America would most likely never have known about it, and at most it would have made the news in the state of Missouri; not even headline. Obama certainly would not have talked about it at the UN!

One of the young men that testified, an upright employed individual who was warned by the people in that town to keep his mouth shut, was found dead in his car with a bullet wound to the back of the head and accelerant  poured on him and burned. It is also noteworthy to point out that the shop keeper was warned not to report the crime or bad things would happen.  There is video of many people breaking into his business, looting it and then burning it.  What kind of town is Ferguson that the mob rules, and honest people have to tolerate being robbed?  What kind of place is this where people who do the right thing are executed by those who wish to protect the guilty? What kind of country are we turning into where the DOJ tries to taint the results and the outcome in favor of a thug, against those that are sworn to protect and serve and put their lives on the line every day?

You need to be very careful who you elect folks.

We are being played by the media “for ratings” and the race baiters for their own narcissistic needs and to promote more social justice agenda’s.  How many Trillion dollars do we need to go into debt to make the Al Sharptons’ and the Al Greens’ of the world happy! How many towns must be burned down before you stop this Bull Shit!  Right is right, and anything else is Bull Shit!
