As the earth gains mass one has to wonder if it will effect the moons orbit. One must also wonder if the earths orbit will be effected as the earth is “falling” towards the sun in an orbit determined by its speed and mass. As the mass changes so would the orbits of all satellites including the moon and…the earth as a satellite to the sun must also change as its mass changes. Yep, this is my sci fi brain at work.
